I enjoy these games- there are not enough Time Management Games for me. And I enjoy learning the history bits as I go. ( It was annoying though to have to always touch the carts to make them move.)
The game was over very quickly, far too quickly, even so.

I thought I would love this game, and I did for a while. Lovely flowers and the fun of seeing a cottage and garden come into life and colour... But the game gets so ridiculously difficult at the end, with the game telling you that there are no more moves available, while simultaneously demanding many more, that I got angry and frustrated. After three to four hours and only 3 out of the needed 10 baskets achieved, I gave up. The developers need to look at this again. I am not going to buy anything else they may have made.
I don't recommend this game.

The Gardenscape series comprise some of my favourite games. I enjoy the art and the characters and the sense of humour, as well as the challenges. I was delighted to see this game appear, by the same designers, as I had recently re-played all the Gardenscape games. The art and the music are fitting and fun here, and so are the design choices. I liked the character, the feminine point of view, the lovely choices and décor, the animals, the books. The challenges increase as the game progresses, and so do the rewards. I couldn't wait to transform each part of the house. It's a beautiful game. Bring on the next one!
