I bought the last offering that looked like Hercules and wasn't, but it played ok. This is just awful. For a start I don't like the blurred background and the way the characters speaking jump as they arrive onscreen. On the other hand the 'H' tile is usually quite easy to find. I was getting through the demo as expected until level 9 or 10 when there's a demon throwing bindweed at your legs and Megara has to come rescue you. It's IMPOSSIBLE. Takes forever to fetch anything and I don't see any way to get enough wood together to get anywhere near the demon in the time. Enormously frustrating and not at all enjoyable. Shall uninstall and definitely not purchase. I miss the old 12 Labours of Hercules format.... :(
I don't recommend this game.

This is an adventure game with a difference. From the same studio as Outta This Kingdom, you have to help a few fun characters complete their missions. There are several stages within each level so that you can stop and save easily.
This isn't like the other strategy/builder games in that it's not just about building things and collecting rent. You have to find tools to get certain jobs done and each level presents different challenges.
There are two modes - adventure, where only some levels are timed - and heroic, which is harder and they're all timed. I think even if you miss the time though, you can still continue - just without a star.
If you liked Outta This Kingdom, you'll love this!
I recommend this game!

I usually buy strategy/building TM games like these - but this one is a disappointment.
The graphics aren't quite as slick as some of the other games, (like My Kingdom for the Princess, Royal Envoy, Island Tribe etc), but I could have lived with that. And yes the timer disappears rather quickly but again, that's just a case of working out the correct strategy for the level and Gold becomes achievable, so no real problem.
What I can't live with is the new innovation whereby if you left-click like crazy over the action taking place it speeds up. I've only played 5 levels and my finger hurts already! And you do NEED to do this to get gold.
