Well, I didn't even finish the trial before I gave up on this one. Rescue Team is my favorite series but this one is a completely different game. Very complicated set-up & very slow loading time between levels. I know it is hard to come up with new ideas for a series, but I would have enjoyed the old gameplay with a maybe more female characters & a new theme like saving the ocean or the polar bears or some other theme related to the environment.
Maybe I haven't played any Moai games. Maybe if I started with the first one I would like it better. However, with dozens of TM games under my belt, I had real difficulty figuring out what I was supposed to do. The tutorial wouldn't even turn on for the first round. Usually games provide too much tutorial but this one was lacking. No wonder it is a $2.99 special.
I don't recommend this game.

I am a total latecomer to this game as I mostly play games on my phone & only occasionally play old games that I bought on Bigfish. Found this one by chance & so glad I did. Graphics are beautiful & every level gives you new things to do & items to add. I like that you can buy items to make the game move more quickly but you are not bombarded to do so & the price is a very reasonable $5. You can play with other players but you don't have to. It is very easy to move items around so if gameplay is slow you can have fun just redecorating your kingdom. One of the best games I have played in a while.
I have been going back and playing my old games & forgot how much fun this one is. You again are Kate & run a variety of garages as you move around the world. I love how this game involves a woman of color (extremely rare in games) & a woman doing a traditionally male job instead of running a beauty parlor or restaurant. Game play is very long & varied with new tasks & cars added at each level. In between levels you use your points to upgrade your house. Good replay value in trying to get gold on each level. It's a pity this series was not continued beyond the first 3 games. They hold up over time.
In this game you are an interior decorator who is given clues as to how a client wants his home decorated. You pick out the decorations, then have a short amount of time to decorate. I enjoyed following the clues for decorating. The second part where you are timed doing the work can get a bit tough & there is no way to move to the next house if you can't move fast enough. There are tons of levels so you definitely get your money's worth in this game. Sadly these games seem to no longer be made. It would be great to see a new edition.
I love the idea of this game. Basically you are trying to save the railroad from "the villain" & have to do that by fixing the train tracks & raising money to let the train go through. Great concept but nothing really changed level to level--no power-ups, no bonuses or other things to change gameplay. I think it's an ok game for kids or others who want more relaxed gameplay, but as a TM junkie, I found this one lacking.
Taking your daughter to school is no easy feat when twelve of her friends tag along! Juggle a dozen kids with unique demands in this challenging time-management adventure!
I found this game very similar to Gab Cab which I bought & liked. You pick up various children & take them to various schools. You get bonuses for groupings such as all the bullies, or all the girls or taking the "lone wolf"by himself. It starts off very easy & somewhat boring but jumps difficulty pretty quickly. I liked the addition of the second bus using right side control of the mouse..that is something I have not seen in other games. Lots of upgrades. I do agree that the "wave" levels you have to pass in order to move on should be somehow skippable & the patience level meters on the kids are very hard to see. It also seems like a pretty short game as I reached level 18 (out of 50 I think) in the one hour demo. All in all a decent game that I think kids would like...
I only played for 15 minutes before I got bored. The graphics were very cartoonish & I found the characters "We're ready" voices to be very annoying. Also too much bashing on the ogres & lots of clicking. I have somewhat enjoyed the previous games in this series & I do like the historical info but it seems like the developer veered away from the more traditional TM in this one & just made it too frantic. There also didn't seem to be much strategy involved--maybe in later chapters. I prefer the earlier games in this series.
First off this is not a TM game--more a strategy/sim, Virtual Villagers type game. As others have stated, directions are poor. Once I finally figured out that I needed to click on a quest once I had finished it to receive the next quest, the game got more fun & I was enjoying myself & got til level 6 when I got to the fishing game. Couldn't understand the fishing game directions & couldn't catch a fish & no skip or pay penalty so at that time I couldn't continue the game. Pity because I like the storyline & concept, but execution is a bit lacking. If you like the VV type game tho, you should give it a try.
