Don't take my 5 star rating to mean that this is a huge challenging, mind blowing epic wonder game. In fact, if it is an Alice of story fame, I don't see it. But I like the style mosaics used. It is a nice peaceful, easy going game, at the level I set it. And that suited me just fine. For a hard core gamer. Look somewhere else. Low stress, and easy going. Just not for everyone.
I got this figuring I made a mistake, and was not going to like another "run around on paths building, destroying, and doing so much I ran out of time, game. I ended up enjoying everything about it. It is nice to see a "run around path game" that is large, detailed, and draws you into a decent storyline. Only con, is that my mouse clicking arm hurts, from trying to beat just one more level!
I recommend this game!

WMS Slots: Quest for the Fountain
Spin on nine brand new, never before seen slot games and 6 classic casino slots from WMS Gaming!
Poking around the internet, I was looking for an exciting slots game to pass the time. After pricing out some that looked okay, I got to thinking about looking on my BF site. This slot game caught my eye. The reviews were perfect, not that the others here would be a bad choice, but I never liked a slot machine that would take all my credits/money, and leave me in want visually, and/or pocket wise. This game has all the winners. Tons of different achievements can open up new slots. Each were addictive. Bells voices, bonuses, scenes, and more. The best part, besides the beautiful graphics, was that you never going broke. Like one other review says Stop looking and just get this one today.
I recommend this game!

The Silent Age
Help Joe discover the truth behind humankind's extinction! Can a simple janitor and literally, "the average Joe," save humankind?
The older folks will understand, and the young-uns will not get it. Companies have figured out that some older style games, have that wonderful nostalgic quality that makes us yearn for the days that we need not fear entering a public place. This is a game for the time that you see a red splotch and know someone got hurt, without the details of the trauma. Stop thinking inside the modern day box, and venture, for a time back to the days when computer life was simple, and much less high res. It is refreshing to play these old style games on modern computer tech.. I haven't gotten far into the game yet, so I'll leave the progress of it to those who have. But my initial experience is that I will love playing it again, and again when I need an old (fun time) nostalgia trip. Thanks for bringing this to us older folks who remember this great old time computer gaming. You younger kids, give it a try. Touch some old school fun.
The game has more twists, and turns, than a carnival roller coaster. Location, after location. Items, puzzles, storyline, and much more. Where I have a small problem is, I'd like to be able to pull away from it. It is very long. The puzzles were fairly easy. If they were any more difficult, I would never finish the game. Overall I liked it a lot. You can stop it anywhere at all to save. It kept me wanting to see where all of it was heading. Graphics were very good also.

I read the reviews and took a leap of faith. True: sync of voice and characters is terrible. True: The hint (the few times I really figured I'd need one) directs you to a task that you are not ready for, driving you crazy. Each task was figured out by wandering around everywhere "EVERYWHERE". I found the puzzles quite la de da. only once giving into solve from boredom Still the game worked and the game played through by trial and error. The ending was a tad disappointing, and blah. Overall, I will play it a few times through for my "I need things to do" days so survey says 4 stars for the majority of the game.
The fat and skinny of this game amounts to this: It's an old game format that brings back memories of earlier ones that I have enjoyed immensely. Basic reading and following directions required. Game play is not hard to tackle, but remembering how you got to the area you are at, can be a tad frustrating. The graphics are pleasant yet without animation, and all the dialog is reading. I'm okay with this. Game play was smooth, and the background music was fairly nice. The puzzles were easy through trial and error, with a skip function and a hint, that only shows you where you need to be (not how to go back there). Not for everyone, but for me, a nice rainy day time waster.
Just played a half hour and my wife may be having to call me a few more times to tear me away. Graphics are adjustable and crisp. Story line is great. No clogging time restraints and a do over (plus an undo). this game is just fabulous. When they mentioned Tetris type blocks to use, I cringed. I failed at that game miserably. It is not like that. Blocks do not fall as in that game. You control where to place them at least as far as I got. Lots of thinking, but take your time and think it through. . To boot, the position possible will appear showing you how the move will look for the (here it is) cute mice to navigate. I love this game!

This review is for the new Updated version that is much more playable. Reviewers were correct. When I first bought this game it was full of bugs and spiderwebs (for game play too). Items were near impossible to find and it was creepy dark. The game got a small makeover and is quite fun to play now. You play a realtor touring a home for evaluation, getting it ready for selling. Rather than your standard dilapidated house that gets repairs in order to get it sold, you only need to clean it from bugs and webs etc. This is only a minor part in the game. The real task is to find/earn objects by various means, for which to use in your moving along, advancing to other sections of the home. Too, you must uncover the underlying reason for strange eerie things happening throughout the residence. Pretty straightforward. The game is just a tad short, but first time through you will need to find out what each collected item is used for. I will play it again.
The game itself was a blast. I loved the coupling of two different time periods (10 years apart 1979 & 1989) together. One character is in both years, but of course, older in the later date. The game was quite long, but relaxed and puzzles were mostly easy. Some times you just need a make me think, but not too much game. The bizarre part that prevents it from blowing me away, is in the interaction of the parties involved. The lips do not move, and not much expression on their faces. I suppose when a game is long, the amount of detail needs be a bit toned down. Maybe?? Overall fun and gets you wanting to see the outcome. Hardcore nitpickers won't score it high for its simplicity, and the lack of voice/face movement. I'll play it a few times over time.
