Tried the demo and deleted it after 10 minutes. This game seems geared to children as it gives 'facts' about nature and the world in the in-game book. The graphics were low quality and very grainy almost like the game was one of the first casual games ever released. The interface made it feel like a smartphone app that was ported to PC. Game-play is almost nonexistent as you are combining elements/nature to create more nature. Maybe I'm missing something but all I could figure to do was try different combinations until one worked and created a new element and then repeat. I prefer puzzles that require logic, not brute force. It looked like this was all you do in the game and I can't imagine doing this same thing over several levels. Not a game I will be purchasing as it felt like work and games are supposed to be fun.
I don't recommend this game.

Even though I only played 50 minutes of the demo, this game has a few problems that really stand out. Sparkling Amber could have been a great TM game and I was really looking forward to a new TM, but this is not the game for me. First of all, in a TM game you really need the 'hot spot' where you click to be dead on. As the game speeds up your clicks need to work or the game just becomes frustrating. I found all too often my clicks didn't seem to matter. Amber often ran around with things in her hands even though I had clearly clicked on what I thought was the right spot to get her to do the task needed. Although this makes the game challenging, it's not in a good way. Secondly, you can't cancel clicks in your queue. So once you get a bunch of tasks queued up you're stuck and of course that's when the thief shows up and Amber is running around with things to do and you can't cancel them. Lastly, you feel like you're not getting any where. Because you have to buy your upgrades and apply them every single level you feel like you're not making progress. I ended up feeling like I was working instead of playing a game. Although I liked the concept and the graphics were nice, the level of frustration this game presented means I won't be buying it.
I don't recommend this game.

If you think sequels are a bad thing, this game will change your mind. The continuation of the story started in Awakening: The Dreamless Castle, Moonfell Wood is a fun game and worth playing as a sequel or stand-alone. The graphics are beautiful and the music is appropriate. Puzzles require some thought and aren't all hidden object searches. I did get a little tired of one of the 'puzzles' with the goblins as it occurs several times in the game, but it wasn't frustrating enough to make me walk away. This game is definitely worth checking out.
I recommend this game!

A different take on the Sleeping Beauty story, however, I feel this game has a lot to offer. Graphics are well done, music is appropriate, puzzles are engaging without being too difficult. I did get a little tired of playing one of the 'puzzles' again and again (don't want to give too much away), however it didn't occur often enough for me to set the game aside. Thankfully there were plenty of adventure type puzzles without all solutions being a hidden object search. Definitely a fun way to pass the time.
