Sounds like no one else has had problems with the puzzles where you light a fire from one place to another. I managed to get past one by pure luck but now I'm just stuck. I already bought the game, so unless I can figure this out I'm dead in the water. Any one have hints on that game? I'd like to skip the level but apparently I can't.
Wish I could have loved it though. I hope developers read these reviews because we really need (a) much better voiceovers (although the one for Ms. Holmes was fine) and (b) characters that are supposed to help us not being complete imbeciles. And if those characters are men, can they be a little more attractive?
I love these Christmas Stories games. They get me in the spirit, even when that's a hard thing to do. I found this one to be too short, but I also found the storyline to be odd. A kid breaks a gingerbread house and has to be taught moral lessons? Why? Granted, it's a walk in the park compared to the actual Hansel and Gretel story. And the Storyteller was creepy. Sorry. Just isn't as good as previous games.
I really wanted this game to end before it did. Some of the voices were terribly annoying. What I did find entertaining was Jenkins....anyone else notice it's Barney Fife with a beard and glasses?
I was really expecting more. It took *forever* for this game to load and I thought that meant it would take a while to play. However, it was very short and pretty easy. Also, if I can't have Elf with me, what's the point?
I enjoy these games, mostly because of the darling dog, but this one was quite good *other* than to me, it was too short. Even with the bonus chapter just not enough to do.
Have played a lot of games and really enjoyed this one more than others I've played recently. The place and time of the game are perfect for me. On top of that, the bonus game was perfect for Christmas and would *love* to see these developers do a CE along those lines for next year.
