This game doesn't have the greatest graphics, but oddly I did enjoy the game. It does get repetitive and as you progress through the different casinos, you'll have to start over w/ re-buying upgrades. There's enough going on in the game that will keep you busy. Downside to the challenge of some levels: luck. Sometimes you just have to re-play a level to get expert, and this can be attributed to getting different customers w/ different preferences.
It seems there are more negatives than positives w/ the game but for some reason, I enjoyed playing it, 2x already. I wouldn't recommend this game at full price, but as DD or on sale. Definitely try the demo first - this is one of those games that you'll either love or hate.
I recommend this game!

Usually I'm not into 'farming' TM games, but this game captured my attention all the way through. Storyline was simple but I usually don't play TM games for the storyline. For those that do, you might find the story simple and boring, but the increasing challenge of each level as you progress, may make you overlook that factor.

I love all the Delicious games in the series, so without hesitation, I bought it.
This one was disappointing, and not just due to the technical issues - that's another story that you can check out in the forums.
I thought the storyline was great, heart-warming and cute. The gameplay is in line w/ all the other Delicious games, nothing new there. What's frustrating about the the gameplay, besides the technical issues, there seemed to be quite a bit of downtime between customers. Even during the higher levels, there wasn't a steady stream of customers to keep you engaged. Eventually I got bored w/ the 1-2 secs waiting for customers...I expected that at low levels but not higher levels. There also seemed to be a lag/pause when you're choosing the next moves. It's almost like Emily is thinking about what you're telling her to do next.
Overall buy this if it's on DD or if you really want this to complete the collection. If not, I would skip...and that's very difficult for me to recommend to anyone to skip any game in this series.

Challenging as levels progress but lots of fun. I didn't think I would like the game but tried the free trial anyways - glad I did. Plays like your typical TM game style, which I miss nowadays. Once you start playing, you'll hardly notice the bad graphics of an older game. Lol.

The graphics are beautiful, as expected. Storyline is intriguing and won't be disappointed. In fact, everything about the game is great, in line w/ the Elephant developers and the series. The mini-games are not too difficult, bit easy for my taste but think it's in line w/ most people's taste. HOG scenes are easy though.
Only disappointment is the length. It seemed a bit short to me - either that or I was enjoying it so much, I couldn't believe it I was at the end already.

I have always been a fan of the Dark Parables series - usually buy with no question. However this one was different. The graphics was poor in comparison to the others, which is ironic considering how they're older. I found it to be quite irritating after a while.
Storyline seemed more bland, not much substance. There was no cohesion. Definitely did not capture my attention. I did like how they brought some characters into the story (how they usually do) but seemed like they were just thrown in w/o a purpose. It was annoying - I felt it just lacked the effort. Even the Parables' stories seemed sloppy and just thrown together.
Overall it is a sad and disappointed addition to a series well loved. I would be apprehensive about buying the CE. Don't have the same expectation of the other DPs and you'll be fine. I do hope the developers (new and old) take this into consideration and revert to what made the series so great. Why fix something that's not broken?!

Fun time management, that follows the same gameplay as Delicious. I especially love all the special items ingame that references Delicious or the devs other games. Only complaint as many have stated, way too short w/ so few levels. Because of that, it's hard for me to recommend at full price, but definitely pick it up as a deal!

This was a great sequel to Emily's Wedding. The gameplay is essentially the same as the Wedding, but I found this to be more enjoyable w/ the different areas of the cruise ship: spa, children's room, deck, beach, etc. Each area has it's own type of items to serve customers, i.e. children's room was crayons, Popsicle sticks, hand puppets, etc. This is definite buy and I don't see how anyone could not enjoy the humorous storyline.

This is a spot-the-difference game and not HO. The differences can be difficult to spot, such as a variation in shading. I had fun playing this game since it's different from the usual TM and HO. Just don't play for a long period of time as you can probably get crossed-eyed :)
It's nice to have something different come across the way.

Storyline was cute. Graphics was colorful, easy on the eyes and fun. This is more of a cross between HO and TM, but definitely worth the try, if not buy. Gameplay is to find the items required to make certain dishes per customer. As you progress in levels, they add more ingredients to the scene and more rooms. One aspect I did enjoy was the fact that not all the items are in the same spot everytime you replayed or returned. This way, it makes the game more replayable since you can't just simply memorize everything.
