I rarely write reviews. A game has to go above and beyond the usual standard formula for me to take the time to say something about it.
While I didn't find anything that I could say was exactly new with this game, I can say it felt like more thought and consideration was put into it. When I play a game, especially a collectors edition, I want to feel immersed and interested in the story line as well enjoying playing the game.

While I love the previous fishdom games, this one is so hard at the higher levels that I had to restart one of them 3 times before I could pass it.
I am now on level 158, and after almost 3 hours, I am unable to get pass that one. It has a icon that shows you need to detonate at least 2 bombs together. Well, I've done every combination I could thing of, I don't know if it's a glitch in the software or if I'm doing something wrong, but since I've done multiple different combinations of blowing items up, IN ALMOST 3 HOURS TIME, I don't think it's me. I give up!!!
This is frustrating because I get these type games to wind down after work. I think most people who purchase those types of games buy them for the same reason. I want to see the game progress and buy fish and decorations for my aquariums. I want to relax to a simple game to help me wind down. I DON'T want to have to restart a level over and over again to pass it, or spend hours on a level trying to obtain a elusive goal.
I have enjoyed the previous games, however, if I could get my money back on this one, I certainly would!
I loved playing this game. The story line was great. I enjoyed most of the puzzles and how the HOGs were set up.
I would have given this a 5 star rating down the row except for a few bugs in the game. During some of the cut scenes, the screen went completely dark. Not on all the cut scenes, just a few, but while I could hear and read what was happening, I couldn't see anything.
Also had a hard time with some of the puzzles in the technical sense. Example: Trying to put a small mirror in it's place. Even though the cursor would start spinning it's wheel to show the item could be place, it wouldn't let you put it in there. After much trial and error, I finally found that you had to click just on the inside the frame beside the knob. Very frustrating.
But other than that, I enjoyed the game and found it fascinating to play. It was hard to put down because I wanted to see what was going to happen next in the story. Wish this had been a collectors game, I would have looked forward to bonus play with this one. I hope there is a follow up to this game. Minus the bugs of course.
A lot of thought and effort went into this game and it shows! I hated for it to end! I can't wait for the sequel, I just hope that it is as well done as this game was.
The storyline and graphics were wonderful. It didn't just follow the same old formula with the mini games and hidden objects. there were also a few twists to the story.
The only compliant I had is that some of the games didn't have a very good description to it and I had to use hints or the guide to figure out how to play it.
Other than that, this was one of the better games I have ever played here at Big Fish.
This was a well done game with a great story line. I have gotten a little jaded with some casual games. Many tend to just follow a predictable formula or pattern. For a game to stand out for me, it has to have a little more thought and effort put into it. This game has some of that.
That said, I'm surprised that this isn't in the top 10 downloaded games. As soon as I played the demo and understood the quality of the game, I knew I would be buying it. I'm sure many others felt the same way. I have to wonder how Big Fish comes up with their top 10. Is it by demos downloaded and played, or by games that are bought and downloaded?
Either way, I feel this should definitely be on their top 10 list!
Good graphics and music, but for me that must be a given, or the game is not going to even get three stars.
The storyline is what is important to me, and did the developers put some thought into the game itself, and not just follow the same tired formula. This game shows more effort was put into it.
My only complaint is the HOGs. Some of the objects were so hard to find, that even with the hint button used, I couldn't see the objects. I really wish the developers would listen to the reviews that say how frustrating this is. Really! I have never read a review that said they were pleased that the objects were so hard to find that they were forced to use the hint button. If it wasn't for that, I would have given this game five stars.
This was an excellent game. I'm fairly jaded when it comes to casual games. For me, it is a way to unwind from work. Good graphics and music must be a given. For a game to stand out, it needs to have a good storyline and I need to be drawn in and interested in the characters. I want to feel like I'm immersed in the story, and the puzzles are a way to further the storyline.
I hate games that have puzzles so hard or long to achieve that I wind up having to use the skip button. Or one's were the story is almost a afterthought and the puzzles and HOGs are the main focus of the game.
The only negative I have for the game is that some of the HOGs are very difficult to find. I wish developers would pay attention to the reviews that point out, nobody likes HOGs were it is hard to find the objects. It doesn't make it interesting or challenging, it is just frustrating.
But since that was my only complaint in a otherwise very good game, I will give this game five stars.
Well done!
I recommend this game!

This was just so-so. I bought it after playing the demo, thinking it had promise. But honestly, I got so bored with it, I just wanted to finish it. Thankfully, it didn't take very long.
I try to look for games with a interesting story that draws you in. This game just followed the same old, tired formula, and there didn't seem to even be very much effort into that.
Excellent game! I rarely give a game more than 4 stars because so many of them follow the same tired pattern. Puzzles and HOGs are fine, but I really want to be immersed in the story when I am playing a game, and this one really delivers. I felt like I was watching a murder mystery in which I was helping the detective find the clues. The voice overs were top notch. I was able to talk to the characters several times to get more clues.
The puzzles and HOGs were just the right challenge, the developers didn't bog the game down with them, instead, they focused on the story and the mystery. I don't know why this isn't in the top 10. Maybe it just didn't get very much advertisement on Big Fish. It's a shame, it is one of the better games that have been releaseed.
