I see the complaints. Give it a chance. If you didn't play the previous versions it might be a little confusing. The artifacts and spells you receive in the game will help you reach gold. There are around 48 levels and additional bonus levels. At level 3 the path splits. Both sides have to be completed. I love a good challenge. Moai is one of my favorite time management games and this one didn't disappoint.
I recommend this game!

I love tm games. This is a game I really enjoyed.
I thought the objectives were very clear. You don't have to be expert on each level to move on but you have to gain points to purchase the upgrades. I think the previous player/poster might have missed that. Certain levels might need a level 3 upgrade and if you don't have enough points might have to redo a level to gain enough points.
There are some really good youtube videos for the mogul games if you need a little help with a level. I always go for the expert trophy so these helped when I needed it.
I have played Hotel Mogul and Hotel Mogul Vegas. Vegas gets even more challenging.
Looking for a new tm game, give it a try. You may want to continue.
