Nothing new in this one. Missing family member. Animal talking in an annoying voice. Action opens with our hero's vehicle crashing. And more vivid colours than my eyeshadow collection. I'll wait for the next adult game instead.
I'm not really into Christmas-themed games, so this game was a pleasant alternative to the recent crowd of sentimental Christmas offerings. A solid adventure game with HOPs, an interesting story and well-functioning map and gameplay.

I enjoyed this game so much that I played it almost nonstop over the course of a day. Modern setting. Spooky themes. A good balance of adventure elements and HOPs. And a fun secret room challenge at the end.

No talking animals, no princesses or fairytales, yey! This story is mostly set in modern times. The puzzles were good, the hint and map worked well, and there weren't too many cutscenes. The usual wackiness of characters in the story standing around while you do all of the work is in full force, but it is amusing this time. Overall a good game and worth the CE price.
Not enough variety in the challenge levels of puzzles for me

I gave up on this one 20 minutes into the demo. It would suit players who like very difficult puzzles, especially the "move this and another thing moves" types. I tend to play games to relax in bed before sleep and to be honest I usually skip through those really tough ones, In this game, all of the puzzles were of the harder variety, and unfortunately the skip setting couldn't be made short enough for me to progress enjoyably through the game. Even the hidden object puzzles were of the shape instead of word type. The graphics were nice and the storyline seemed good, although one we've seen many times before.

This game seemed promising during the demo, but I now regret buying it. As you progress into the game, the text becomes less and less understandable as English and the game seems to seize up sometimes. I won't finish this one.

On the plus side, this is a long game, so there's plenty of value from your purchase. The puzzles are good and the map works well. The storyline was a bit too disturbing for my tastes, unecessarily gory. The characters were quite annoying at times, in particular the husband and the teenage neice. The notebook had some glitches too. You needed to read the notebook to work out what was going on in the story, but it seemed to open at page 1, so you'd be clicking almost 60 times through the notebook towards the end of the game to get to the current page.

I don't know what made me try this game. I usually avoid games with cutesy animals and this style of overly romanticised graphics, but this game was excellent and I'm so glad that I tried and bought it. I think what made it so enjoyable was just the gameplay and the pacing. The puzzles and hidden object scenes came along just often enough. The map and hint worked well.

For a SE hidden object/adventure game, this one was amazing value. I liked the storyline, which took me to a variety of settings. The characters were interesting, there weren't too many cut scenes (hooray!), and the map was one of the best I've seen in any game.

An engaging match 3 game is such good value, and this is an example of a very engaging one. I played this for weeks both at home and on work travels. The games were a good length, the challenge level was perfect, and the ability to earn credits to buy helpful add-ins was a nice touch.
