If ever there was a gaming match made in heaven, it would be our beloved MCF series and Elephant Games it seems! So many things to rave about, I'm practically frothing at the mouth - lol.
*The artwork is topnotch IMO. Those wallpapers!!
*The sound is good.
*The HO scenes are clear, relatively easy, and few and far between, (yay!!)
*Those puzzleboards are amazing! At times quite difficult, but they come with instructions this time, (again with the yay!!)
*The length? Long. Very long! I'm still working on the bonus game and I have been playing for days - on the easiest mode too!
*Puzzles here, puzzles there, puzzles EVERYWHERE! And only one which I have seen before.
*The map and hint button are very useful, (look ma - I'm teleporting!)
*I loved having Isis for company. Tre elegant mon petite chou chou! (This is how I usually talk to my cats!)
*Lots to collect. That Captain Crowne bobblehead is on my Xmas wishlist! If wishes were pigs...
*Erm...BUT there was no 'quirk' which was so prevalent in previous MCF games. (This is what made me an addict in the first place - go figure!) I'm not really complaining about that, progress is progress after all. But if you could just...maybe..tweak the 'quirk' factor next time? That's quirk - not 'twerk' devs!! :-D
*Overall, this comes highly recommended! Enjoy!!
I recommend this game!

Purely a hidden object game, with no adventure, but not bad. Buy it for the door lock puzzles and the story of the beginning of Charles and Emma's relationship.
I recommend this game!

It's a pity that there are so many negative reviews because I thought that the game was very well done! Beautiful graphics - probably the best I've seen from BFG on this series! Lots of 'scares'; a little humour, (LOVED that book on auto repair!) and what I thought was a perfectly adequate SG! I'm only about 60% of the way through the game, but I'm loving it! The MCF series, (from RTR onwards), will be amongst my most treasured gaming 'possessions' for the rest of my life I think. Each year there is something new, (and something old!), and more challenging about the games - it's as if we're all 'growing' together. Can't wait to see what comes next year! Well done Big Fish!!
I recommend this game!

Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

Top marks for every factor that concerns this game because love it or hate it, you will never have another gaming 'experience' like it! I'm not going to go through the whole story because a lot of other reviewers have done so already but I'd just like to say:
*I actually liked the morphing objects scenes. It's 'change' for Pete's sake, but will it leave you feeling that you might be going slightly mad too? Hmmm!
*When other reviewers and BFG state that this is intense and not for kids, please take their advise! The despair and anguish that you get from the different scenarios and sound effects throughout, tends to creep under your skin and invade your dreams - like it did to me last night! So if you are a 'softie' STAY AWAY! Disgusting and nauseating I can do...but can you?
*Liked the puzzles that really did leave you puzzled due to zero help and the SG too. What's wrong with just pictures?!
PLEASE BFG...more games like this soon - but maybe for the next one we can help Charles come to terms with his past instead of the other way round, and all of us can collectively stomp on Abigail Dalimar's bottom? Just sayin'!
Absolutely recommended!
I recommend this game!

I brought this game as a 'Daily Deal' and was pleasantly surprised. The graphics were unique and enjoyable. There were some good 'jump out out of your skin' moments for fans of scary movies. And those puzzles where you had to be e-v-e-r so careful! Those were challenging for me because I'm not the most patient person, but I didn't want to skip them! There were some things that were a little irritating - the standard of English is awful, like one reviewer has already stated; and the fact that you can't pick some things up that you might need later, etc. A storyline that any parent would identify with and a bittersweet ending make this game one that I would look forward to playing again!
I recommend this game!

Started out liking this game a lot - enjoyed the graphics! BUT visiting the same scenes for hidden objects over and over again became really tedious after a while, sometimes four or five times! Knew the scenes almost off by heart - ended up wishing there was a skip button for the HO scenes! Minigames almost non-existant, but I suppose the storyline was quite interesting. I'm giving the game three stars but from a personal point of view, will not be recommending it.
I don't recommend this game.

I wasn't quite sure what to make of this game after playing the entire game for the first time. I think I was expecting more of the actual Celtic folklore; but the science fiction bit was an interesting twist. As mentioned by a fellow reviewer, Cernnunos is a fertility god, NOT a demon!! There were other parts of the plot that had me scratching my head as well, eg. that carniverous plant? In Ireland?? But on the whole, the graphics are excellent - crisp and clear, and the hint facility recharges at a super fast rate. Will look forward to playing again with a differant mindset!
I recommend this game!
