I have the other 2 "Halloween" games. Read reviews b4 trying and someone thought "too easy, more for children". They didn't play far enough I think?? It is easy at first, as most games are. Then, my opinion, gets too hard for little ones. I still have to skip the "wiring" puzzle towards the end. This was worth every penny, and will keep me entertained in the future. Give this a try :) Can't wait for Halloween 3
Played the trial version. Now, I'm not quick at these games. I get the CE, because I need help. Even "I" finished the whole thing in an hour. :0 I guess like others, I was expecting (hoping for) as great of a game as the first one. This had the potential, they just didn't go far enough imo. Loved the music and the theme. But I'm not buying "1/4" of a game. I'm used to taking 6 hrs at a stretch. Or, many days of an hour here, a couple hrs there. Someone else mentioned it was like an SE version. Those even take me longer. Wish I could have rated better. Think they just got in too big of a hurry to kick out another "wonder game" like the first one.
I loved this game. Thought it fit right into the Dark Parables line. I dug that it was a bit different. Each person on BF games has their own likes. I own all of this series. But, it's my thing. I was stoked to see a new one! If you like the series, you'll like this one too. Just my opinion, and I'm sticking to it! :p
The Christmas Wonderland games are fun all year long. In this game, I love that they have changed up the music for the scenes. Some of the objects ARE tuff to see. But, would you want to spend your hard earned money on a game you could breeze thru the first or 2nd time? Each game and the "bonus" things you need to find differ. The length of the game gives you your full moneys worth. I hope Casual Arts keeps up the yearly tradition. This might be hard for the "wee ones". Will need an adult to help look. As a 50+ yr old, I've gotten a kick out of it. Give it a try. Happy Holidays :)
I'm thru the trial, and playing for a bit. I love the casual arts games, have many of them. Reviews I read were not so kind. My opinion is, you have to be used to this game creator. It is by far the most challenging. Each one has their own "bonus points" thing to look for. In this game, it IS hard. I have enjoyed "watching the children grow up" as the games go by over the years. As the title states, THIS game is not for kids. (yea!) I have maybe 6 of them, which all are fine for all ages. This one is the hardest, and theme/music is more for teens and above.
I can't believe how I keep going back to this game. The little fish are too cute! When they "wish" for something and you get it for them. Little hearts emit from them when they see it. You just die of cuteness. Also love if when they line up and perform for you. 99% of my games are "dark themed". I read about "Steve the Sheriff", and enjoyed it so much, I bought "Steve 2" and then found this. I'm over 50 yrs old, not just for the kids. :) Try this one. Hope you enjoy it.
I knew right away this was from the same people that made "Christmasville". Bit by bit I played this game. I laughed a couple times in this. I mostly play seek and find. This one challenged me. Used the "cheat" guide more than once. It was light and a good change from the darker games. All in all I found this game fun. The more you get into it, the better it gets. The different scenes tie into each other down the road. For such a cheap price, well worth my investment. This will give me many more hours of play over the years. Glad I spent the money on this versus other games I have bought. Hope you enjoy it too as well :)
I used to own both of these games many years ago. Several puters ago! I have really been enjoying playing them again. Can't beat the price for both games. They are a nice break from really having to think hard, yet offer some challenge too. Sometimes you just need a "chill" game to keep you busy. These fill that bill. :)
Funny reading the reviews, how different us gamers are. I own the first 2 of these. Was really happy to see a 3rd. I didn't find the HOS too crowded at all. Sure, some things were challenging to find, and time expired on me more than once. However, do you really want to purchase a game you can ace in no time at all? I enjoyed that this one was different, as game one is from game two. I'm glad they put out a 3rd. To the people that thought the kids were "zombie like", they are just growing thruout the series. I looked odd as a teen too :) If you like the other games, then I recommend this one too.
I had purchased the 2nd version of this last year. Enjoyed it all year, so I got this one in November. Would be a great game for kids, might need some help from adults for the little ones. I'm 53, and when I am tired and don't really want something serious I just love playing this. Have gotten my moneys worth of play already.
