Same old game to the point of total boredom. Nothing really new just new countries. They still have the same puzzles and the jigsaw puzzles challenges with a million pieces are given the same amount of time as the find the match challenge with only 25 matches. Also, it would be nice to know how far you have played, like other games have a numbered map 1- 50. I found it a waste of time and money.
Just when I was starting to have fun and getting into the game, it ended. They didn't even finish the story. So what happened to the woman? She just stays stranded by the water tower? Am I missing something? Even with the sale price of $4.99, the length of this game was not worth it. And by the way in one of the first HOPs, a kiwi is not an avocado.
I usually love Delicious Emily games and I buy them before I even play the demo. I like the story, I love the colorful illustration, but I hate the way this developer has changed Patrick. He doesn't do anything. When Emily is fixing and serving the orders Patrick just stands there, he doesn't even clean the tables. They made him a bit unlikeable. I thought some of those challenges were just too difficult within the time limit. I gave it 3 stars because is wasn't as enjoyable to play as previous games.

I really enjoyed most of this game.I loved the vibrant colors and the many different stores. I didn't give it a 5 star because the timer was not consistent or equal to the challenge. At some stores you have to do more than one step to finish a task, so the timer should be longer or slower. If this issue was fixed, I would like this game almost as much as "The Honeymoon Cruise".
I usually play the games at least twice, not Parker & Lane. It was difficult just getting through the game to the end this one time. Having actions that interrupt the game play is very annoying, like getting prints off and object, it disrupts the natural flow of the game. Some of the challenges were downright impossible to even get 2 stars. After a while I just played to get it over and done. I should have read the other reviews before purchasing this game.

I always look forward to this game maker's new games, so it was very disappointing playing this game. The challenges are for kids, they were often very silly. The one good thing that I loved was the color vibrancy. There wouldn't be a second time playing this game.

This game is meant for teenage girls but I must admit that as an older woman, I had a great time playing it. There were some parts that really made me laugh and there were some parts that were on the serious side, but it was very tastefully done. The different venues and characters was quite a very nice surprise, and when you find the rat it shows on the lower left. The colors are vibrant and alive. I had so much fun, that I wish it had been longer.

I would have loved this game more if it had been longer. For a CE I found it lacking in length. I am hoping that if there is a future Alicia Quatermain, that it would have even more new and interesting characters.

I enjoyed the story, it was creative, I kept wondering where it was leading to and it was nice that the end was unexpected. I did find some of the challenges a little too short, not enough items to find. Also, it seemed there were not enough tables and therefore not enough customers to serve to make it more challenging. All said, I still look forward to the next installation in this Mary le Chef series.

I would have liked this game but there was one main aspect that could not be ignored, and that is that every little action had to be done individually. Dragging each item to the customer, after a while just grates on your nerves. I played until I got to Brazil and then just couldn't any more. This game needs more work.
