I was so excited to see a griddler as a new release until I realised that I had already played more than half of it a very long time ago! It's a very poorly made puzzle game. A lot of guessing and hoping you choose the right square. That is not solving a puzzle at all. I would not recommend this game. What is happening at BF!! Used to be that a New Release meant it was a game you hadn't seen anywhere else.
WOW!! This was different! Loved everything about it and since there are already some excellent reviews posted I won't go into detail. Just would like to say don't miss this trial! The mini games were especially unique if not to challenging. Absolutely loved the story line and visuals. Not many HO's but that didn't matter. The only problem I had was a floating cursor! Almost gave up because of it. Made it exceptionally hard on a couple of the mini games. Since I didn't see this problem posted on any other reviews I assume it's my laptop but it's only on this game. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 :(

The reason for the Question marks in my title is because I couldn't really think of what to say. I really did want to like this game but the controls made me crazy! It seemed that every time I wanted to click on something I had to wait for the scene to catch up. The click and crag from the inventory is a bit difficult. There were times that I just couldn't get a grip on the item without several tries. Maybe it's just that I am tense today but I play to relax and this didn't do the trick. The story seemed okay and I think I would've really liked it if not for the navigation/control issue. Please, anyone reading this try for yourself. I was so excited to see a Adventure/HO Standard Edition but it just didn't work out for me.

I have always said I wouldn't leave a review without playing the entire trial. This proves my point exactly. I played 20 min. and thought this is soooo old school and a pain to play. Then I came back to finish and realized it may not be what we are used to but it sucks you in. I actually found myself more involved with the story than most IHOs. When the trial ended I was actually very disappointed. The only thing I really didn't care for, but got used to was, the map. I would rather have been able to move scene to scene. It's a must try as far as I am concerned. You will get very involved in escaping the island or finding survivors. My 11 yr. old grand daughter was watching and she said "Oh my gosh Gram it's just like lost." She is right.

This does have something to offer for Ho lovers. It has some unique interactions in the hidden object scenes. Offering mini games in between gives a nice break from searching. I just couldn't find that something special that makes me want to continue. The story line, imho, seemed like a grade paper. Playing the same scene 3 or 4 times right off the bat lost me right away. As always, play it for yourself. It may be just what you are looking for.

This is absolutely a buy for me! Very fast paced. Great HO's. Fun yet easy mini games. I seldom pay attention to the story line in this type game. They always seem to be the same. This one is different. I want to buy just to see how it ends. Some may find it simple/to easy. I have played hundreds of this genre and love it. No running back and forth and the play moves along briskly. Never bored or irritated.

There are 3 series that I look forward to seeing new games for and this is one but imho this isn't up to par. There seemed to be to much running back and forth for to little accomplishment. If you play for the HO's this isn't what you want either. The graphics, voiceovers and mini games were great as usual but the story and game play seemed a bit slow. This is based solely on the demo so play for yourself and it may be just what you are looking for. I am just saying that when I finished the demo I had no urge to buy and play on.
This game is the first in a long time I can actually say I absolutely love. The story line is very interesting because it changes many times. The artwork is beautiful. The hidden object and mini games are as good as they can get, in my opinion.
I Couldn't find anything I didn't like about this! Great job and pat on the back to the Dev's.

I started this trial because I saw all the 5 star reviews on the first page! Is that how it's done? If you look on later pages it goes down to 1 or 2 stars! That's how I feel to.
I played for 25 min, used the tutorial and still had absolutely no idea what it's all about! I list myself as expert in Hidden Object games and rarely use a tutorial. This game demanded to much reading to do so little and a lot of movements to get so little accomplished. Definitely not what I consider a Hidden Object Game! Maybe Puzzle Game? I don't know. I do know it's not for me.

I love art and was really excited about this game but there are to many things I don't like. I love seeing the paintings and a bit of info on them. Finding the hidden objects was fun. Fixing the problems would've been fun if it didn't tell you which tool to use every time. I thought maybe it would quit after the first few but it didn't. I would've liked to be able to look at my score after each painting but it pops up and gone before you have a chance to read it. I also think it may have worked better if they had put a mini game every once in a while just to break up the repetitive feeling.
