I was amazed by how much work must have gone into this incredible game. Even a lot of voice acting was included. The 3D graphics were so realistic and luscious. And the storyline, which so often lets down many HO games, was well-crafted and filled with exciting moments. Jane's character was well-developed, and her dialogue sounded authentic and revealing.
My only frustration - apart from the same instrumental that played for every puzzle - was where is Part 6? Without this extra part of the game, it ends on a cliff-hanger. There is only one version of the game so I suppose that means the developers are still working on this chapter? However, all up, it was brilliant and addictive fun.
I recommend this game!

The Story Line Was Unexpectedly Rich

I wasn't expecting such a memorable and captivating storyline. Most of the HOGs have story lines which fade from memory within moments of finishing the game. But this story had suspense and intrigue AND a strong and well-fleshed out main character.
An intriguing story-line is everything. Puzzles I could do without as I mainly play for the flight of the imagination which is spun into a story that turns into gold. Second most important element is the character who feels, thinks, has some vulnerability but is still intelligent and brave - and a tiny bit unique. And has something interesting to say. Just like the dashing main character of this story, in fact.
This storyline, despite the outlandishness of its plot, still had believability, except at the last plot twist. It was a bit Deux in the Machina. But, all in all, I was captivated by the game and the wonderful graphics bringing it all to life.
I hope more great games are coming from this designer/developer.
I recommend this game!
