Moi is usually my favourite, bit with bad and inappropriate language, useless characters, awful storyline and why the need for that spin wheel??? No skill levels, no excitement, no challenge, no...nothing! once you hit level 40, you might as well pack up, because there's nothing to do. it just seems they're trying to make the game go to 50. Lacklustre game with questionable characters and plot...kidnapping women?? Shame, shame, shame!
I don't recommend this game.

Fantastic game! I'm sick of all the usual HO rubbish that's been doled out recently...you know the type....pick this to get that, then you don't really get what you need unless you follow this and solve that! This has humour, great graphics and this does exactly what it says it will do. At last Big Fish!!

Yet again, I wait for a sequel to arrive, only to find that it doesn't play properly...so frustrating!! It freezes on level 5 making it impossible to carry on and even when you restart, you suffer the same rigmarole again and again. I think Big Fish earns enough money to be able to pay someone to put things right BEFORE the game goes on sale. I have many Big Fish games, but this won't be among them, couldn't even get past the 3rd level. Too may 'glitches' for my liking and for my purse. Story is ok and so are the graphics and it's easy enough to play, no challenge though. I'd give it a 2 out of 10.
I loved playing this game and its nice to have a HOG that you didn't have to second guess...just get on with it. The graphics are great and the storyline really draws you in, plus the different levels are actually what they say they are! This is not just a Sunday afternoon game...it keeps you involved and wanting to keep playing just to see what happens at the end!
I've played the other versions of this game, and have really enjoyed them, this game however, is really awful, due to the game cursor. You have very little control over it, espescially when needed, its slow/jerky/useless and ruins a good game. You don't even have the option to turn it off, as this option usually helps, but alas!! no good here. If the option was given, then this could be a decent game.
I'm an avid follower of the 'Build-a-lot' series, and this one is on par with the Elizabethan game. Its got all the usual goodies associated with this genre, with added appeal, because of the style and layout of the levels. This game is fun for all the family, as well as exciting and easy to understand. The tutorial is very good, and I really like the 'twists' within the levels (you'll have to play to find out) I give this game 9 out of 10 for 'playability'
