I've been waiting for this game to arrive (yeah) I can't comment on the storyline just yet because I've only played the beta version but it was enough to realize how enjoyable this game would be. I'm sure it will get faster in higher levels. As always you should try it first to see if it's your cup of tea.
There are some who have commented that this game shouldn't be on BFG or that it should have been on a religious site. I personally think those comments are unfair to the many gamers, including myself, who've become tired of the 100's of games put out by BF each year that are all about evil, death, blood and gore. I applaud BF for releasing this game. There are all kinds of buyers here and for those that don't like the inclusion of God in a game they don't have to buy them. But please respect that there are those of us who appreciate the change and would like to see more games like this offered.
Nathan is the youngest member ever to join the Secret 5 but look out - he's out for revenge and will do anything he can for power, including murder. His father realizes this and calls his sister Sarah in to help. As usual there are 3 play modes, wide screen and Aspect Ratio. There is a lot of reading in this game. There is a diary that contains objectives, notes and a map which will take you where you want to go. There are also notes attached to the objectives if you click on them. If you don't want to play the HOS you can play Mah-Jongg instead. Some of the items are very small and I had to click twice to get them but the storyline is so engaging that I slightly overlooked this in this game. There is also a golden key that opens everything which is a first for me considering I hate looking for 25 key's to open 25 plus doors, cabinets, etc., etc. Amazingly I just beta'd this game a week ago for BFG and here it is already. I enjoyed it and will purchase. Happy Gaming all.
I enjoyed this game so much that I had to write a small review on my playing experience. I had no intention of getting this game, especially as a CE until I demo'd it and it immediately grabbed me. I do agree that the playing is on the easy side but I actually enjoyed easier HOS's which allowed me to get back to the actual play quicker. No racking your brain to find objects. The story was involved and kept my interest throughout, not only the actual game, but also in the BC. I'm not one to jump onto CE's but this is definately one CE I am so happy I purchased. The BC was so good and for once the extra's made the game worth the extra price. Hopefully other developers will jump on board and start making bonus chapters "actually worth the extra cost"! I highly recommend the CE version of this game! Happy Gaming to all.
I promised myself I would "wait" to buy this game later but I made the mistake of demo'ing it and was caught immediately in the story. For me this is one of those games where I have to know what will happen next. There is a map but it will not transport you. I didn't find that to be a problem because the areas are so close together that you don't wear out sneakers. There are 2 different types of collectables to find which are not hard to see. The HO's are also easy on tired eyes. I've also noticed in the "Bonus Area" you can replay puzzles, HO games, rewatch movies #although once is enough for me#, and there is one that is called "Before Amaranthine". I found the music to be soothing and now must purchase, DL and finish playing. I'm really enjoying this game. Happy Gaming to all.
"Your brother is kidnapped during an air show. Search for him in a beautiful world where the sky is as wide as your imagination." This game is a stand alone in some way's but it doesn't hurt to have played the other games. I beta'd this a while back and have been anxiously waiting for the release. I found the storyline to be engaging and when my time was up it was a Nooooo moment. The colors can be grainy in areas but not enough to bother me since I would rather have a great story over graphic excellence any day! I won't go into what the game includes since others usually cover that well, but I will say this game is worthy of being a CE #imho# Happy Gaming.
I may be a minority in the FROG category but I love them. In this game I applaud the developers for upping the anti on what I consider an IFROG (interactive frog). Having to find pieces of an object in order to unlock other objects and then place them where they belong has made this game not only fun but challenging. It's not as easy to spot certain pieces but that only adds to the challenge for me. I also note the graphics are superb, colorful and clear on these tired eyes. I loved the 1st game in this series and I'm already looking for a 3rd installment. Happy Gaming!
This review is based on the completed game. I loved everything about this game except the size of the hidden objects. However, the reason I gave this game 5 stars is due to the excellent and engaging storyline. So many HOS released today seem to concentrate solely on the HO and storylines are sorely lacking. From the first scenes through to the end I stayed interested and excited to see what would happen next. IMO I believe the only reason this was not a CE is due to the tiny size of the objects but if you can overlook that you'll be getting a CE quality game packaged as an SE. It looks like there may be a continued story in the making. I certainly hope so. Happy Gaming!
I recommend this game!

This review is based on the completion of the game. I was lucky enough to beta this game a few months back and thought it was good but not better than the first. Looks like the developers listened to the testers and released the game way better than I thought it would be. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and didn't want it to end. As a decorator I wish there were more choices for the house but it didn't stop me from enjoying the heck out of the game. If you've played the 1st game you'll love this one equally well. Just get it and play and enjoy yourself :-)
Based on full play, this is one for your collection! The developers really took their time developing the storyline and the game really held my interest throughout. The graphics are excellent, the HOS aren't difficult but the game is challenging, great VO, mini-games are very varied, there is a map though it's not interactive and the game play is long. If I could give this game 10 stars I would but it's well worth the money and leaves me hoping we continue to get this type of value for the price. Happy gaming all.
