This is a golf-type game where you must chose a card either one higher or one lower than the previous one, trying to get as long a run as you can. But there are more elements to this game that make it challenging and more difficult than others. The power-ups are take a little time to figure out, as well as how to use the items purchased in the store with your earned coins. It took me several days to finished the game as I replayed several levels to improve my score. Perhaps my favorite feature is the incredibly beautiful music. It was haunting and peaceful and really added to my enjoyment. The graphics are very well-done and gorgeous. The storyline is interesting and fun to follow. This is one I will love playing over and over.
An excellent game that is fun and relaxing, simple to learn and a different experience each time. It challenges you to learn new words while planning their placement in the grid. The music is beautiful and the graphics easy on the eyes.
It begins with a definition that you must place so one letter is on the star in the middle of the grid, just as in Scrabble. One challenge comes if you can't figure out the seven letter word right off as you must make sure there is still room for it as you can quickly fill up the grid with smaller words. You can plan your letter placement so you can add letters to existing words and any words not in their list are combos that bring bonus points.
I never get tired of playing this game and never tire of the peaceful, beautiful music.
This is one of my favorite HOGs because I return to it over and over for several hours of fun each time. I never get tired of playing it because the scenes are photographed in a real renaissance faire in Wisconsin and the ambient sounds of birds and frogs, etc. help put you right into the game. As you investigated odd happenings at a faire, you find fairies that can be used as hints throughout the game. After many times of playing, I've only just begun to find all of them. The hidden objects change each time you play and some are pretty well hidden. There is no penalty for over-clicking. The storyline is interesting and seeing one of the characters dance at the end of the game is always worth completing it.
I've played this game all the way through several times and loved it more each time. It's obviously designed by dog lovers which makes it very special. It's one you can enjoy over and over and have a different experience each time. It's a golf-type game, where you play each successive card either one higher or lower. What adds to the fun is using each dog's skill to improve your score, whether it's finding toys on the field or chasing squirrels or a multitude of others. The graphics are clear and the sounds add to the scenes. Perhaps the biggest plus is how long it takes to complete the game. You definitely get your money's worth and with a little patience, have a blast playing it.
I loved playing this game as the beautiful music and graphics really added to the enjoyment of losing myself in the storyline. This is a game to savor like a good book as you find your way around a mansion meeting ghosts and solving mysteries. The mini games are excellent: challenging, but doable without resorting to the skip button. The hidden object games are also well-done. I play in expert mode, and once I got the hang of how the game is played didn't have to use the stratedy guide. I like to use it and hints as little as possible so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I certainly did with this game. I loved going from scene to scene figuring out out the mysteries and thoroughly enjoying the haunting music. This is one of the best hidden object games I've ever played.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I buy most of BF's Hidden Object games and this is my favorite one of all. I like to immerse myself in games to relax, and this was like a great book that you never want to end. The storyline was engaging and the graphics detailed and beautiful. Normally I turn down the music and up the ambient sounds, but this musical score added to the mood and was so haunting, I felt it helped me lose myself in the game. The hidden object scenes and mini games are challenging but not so much they become frustrating. I might add that I play in expert mode and will not use the stragedy guide or hints if at all possible. With that said, I did use the guide once and one hint. This is a game I will enjoy playing again so I feel I really got my money's worth. I can't wait for the next in the series and can heartily recommend this one.
