I absolutely loved this game! So entertaining and heaps to do. I don't review very often but this game is well worth buying if you love puzzles, great graphics and an entertaining long story.
I won't go into details like others have done but as a long-time gamer, this really grabbed me. Entertaining and at times, challenging. Re-played it already and am so happy with my purchase. Is a real keeper.

Sorry, but this game is SO bad....all smoke and mirrors..literally! Laughed my head off at Dupin and one of the characters trying to put the fire out - thought they were doing a jig! Please don't waste your money on this turkey!
I don't recommend this game.

utterly superb graphics, great storyline, collectibles that you can keep track of, and a decent length. Although we've seen everything before in terms of mini-games and HOGs, I was thrilled and very entertained by this instalment of LOTW. Kudos to the developers - just awesome. More of the same please!

This game is dire...all the characters are wooden and lifeless, in fact, the game is soul-less.I was looking to play a free game on this first day of 2018 but even I couldn't do that...much happier resurrecting some of the great games from the good old days, particularly Witches Legacy..so good and well-made.
I don't recommend this game.
The city is being taken over by dark forces!

I bought this game on sale today and ploughed my way through it...was very hard to keep interested for the following reasons:
- very poor graphics - at times I was squinting to make out details.
- the characters were wooden and I didn't really care what was happening to them.
- nothing about this game held my attention at all. Sometimes if the storyline is poor, you are held captive by the graphics...not in this game though.
- HOP's were tedious and uninteresting

Sorry, Fishies....worth checking out the trial but would think long and hard about buying this stinker.

I cannot believe that this once amazing series has come to this. The storyline is confusing/complicated and everything seems clunky and boring. Some of the games are impossible and just plain annoying!! I have not finished the game yet (even though I bought it in the sale) because it is tedious, unlikelable, and just awful. Don't waste your money, fishies.
I don't recommend this game.
A scream in the night... a brutal crime... a mysterious figure with eyes red as blood. Can you get to the heart of this shocking murder?

This is one of the strangest games I have ever played and totally not like any of the other Edgar Allan Poe tales....Inspector Dupin almost seemed like he was spaced out....and the story was violent, disconnected and full of non-sensical challenges. I felt like I was in another world!
Please bring back the old Dupin...

This is an amazingly entertaining game, a visual feast and just perfect for a wet Sunday afternoon :) It has everything I want in a game - great graphics, unobtrusive music, no over-the-top monsters jumping out at every turn, just heaps of fantastic puzzles and endless too-ing and fro-ing that will keep you entertained for hours :) Awesome. BFG, take note, we want more of these games please! Congratulations.

This game was way above my expectations and thoroughly enjoyed it. The graphics, puzzles and the never-ending traipse around a snow-covered landscape....heaps of back-tracking and not sure how many times I went up and down that elevator but I love that in a game :) The music was appropriate and unobtrusive, with the puzzles a really good mixture of easy, just right and downright impossible! The best surprise was the length of the game - it went on for hours and the bonus play finished the story off nicely. Good to see a sequel isn't far away!
Congratulations to the developers for once again giving we gamers the opportunity to just escape and enjoy - well done!

I absolutely loved this game and like at least one other reviewer, cannot understand why it hasn't had more great reviews. Graphics are pretty crisp, the sound is unobtrusive and it's almost mesmerising in how it keeps you hooked! It had everything I look for in a game and is well worth the money. Ideal for a rainy afternoon. Congratulations to the developers on this fine game!
