Find the festivalgoer abducted by the gargoyles of Notre Dame and uncover the cathedral’s dark past in this reimagining of the Victor Hugo’s classic tale.
I found this very difficult, but with the help of a walkthrough I was able to enjoy it. Graphics and story line were very good. The reason I rated fun factor a 4 and not a 5 was because without the walkthrough I wouldn't have had the patience to have completed it.
the creativity, music, sounds that made me feel like I was there, storyline, were all wonderful. I really love the games by benoit sokal, even sinking island :), and was willing to deal with the fact that amerzone was broken up into three parts.
I love this game, as well as syberia and paradise, all by benoit sokal. very creative, wonderful music, fantastic story line, great graphics. it is broken into three parts like the first syberia, but I enjoyed it enough to deal with that.
I love these games. Yes, it is broken up in three parts, like the first syberia game. Yes, I'd prefer that it was one. But, I had read all the reviews about how short the first one was and I was prepared to deal with it. The first one is very short. Ok. So, I went on to two and three. I love them. I love the music, the story, the creativity, the graphics. I think they are wonderful, much better than so many of these very two dimensional hidden object, puzzle, adventure games
I mostly enjoyed the game, with the help of hints and walkthroughs. There were parts I would not have been able to do without that help. The story was pretty good...interesting and complex. The graphics of the island and tower were good, though it bothered me at first that the mouths of the characters did not move. Later into the story, I got used to that and didn't really notice it anymore.
intriguing story line. very long. a bit glitchy and the strange hand motions done by some of the characters was somewhat disconcerting. thank goodness for walkthroughs and hints. I used them pretty freely when I got stuck. overall I found it very creative and engaging.
I played all three parts of syberia I and am now playing syberia II. I have loved all of them. Great story line and characters. Very long. I have needed help with some of the puzzles but with time I have also figured out quite a few without help. I like the challenge. Graphics are good. I highly recommend all of these. I'm not sure why the first game was broken up into three parts, but they were very good.
