Like others, I did not like the story line at all this year. It felt like I was doing puzzle after puzzle for no reason and I really struggled to finish this game. Not enough hidden objects for my taste or Christmas cheer. I am sorry I bought it without trying it first. Feel like I wasted 2 game credits on this one.
I bought this one based on the reviews and I am so glad I used my free game code for it. The story line was odd with a mix of robot-like things fighting yet the characters used magic and arrows. Sorry, I just didn't get it. The puzzles were not enjoyable and barely any HOG throughout the game. I ended up skipping most of the puzzles as they were boring. (On the positive side, thank goodness the game allowed you to skip them!) This was one I struggled to finished and couldn't wait until it ended. Try it before you buy it.
I don't recommend this game.

As soon as I saw it I bought it. Other reviewers have said it all. I am not who usually gets caught up in the story lines but these Delicious Emily games make me laugh and have me anxiously waiting for the next installment. If you are a TM lover and haven't tried the series, it's worth giving it a try.
I recommend this game!

This is based on the free trial. Essentially, it's the same game with some changes made to how you serve the customers. I did purchase the first game and like that one better than this version. They did make changes so that you can serve a full order to 1 customer. I found it more awkward to do this as you can't click and drag items over. The items show in a row at the bottom left of the screen. If I forgot what they ordered and I click on the customer again then the 1 item I had already obtained is served to them. There also seem to be glitches. After I purchased the cheesecake, I couldn't figure out how to scroll back over to see the whole café. I had to purchase a painting in order to get the screen to scroll over to the right. If you like the first one, try the trial before you purchase this one. Overall, I was disappointed with the changes they made to serve the customer. I think it ruined the game. It almost seems like they rushed this game out before is was fully tested and developed. Will not be purchasing.
