To me, these "Delicious" types of TM games are much more fun than chopping wood and busting stones while increasing chances of carpal tunnel. This was just hard enough to be challenging without being frustrating to achieve the 3 stars. I did have to play just a couple of the games over a time or two just because of being like 2 to 5 points under the 3-star goal. The mini-games were more interesting than most and of course, finding the raccoon and having additional objective in each game was fun.
I truly hope there are more games like Primrose Lake.

I really liked the first 3 and knew there could be some improvements to the game such as adding queing-up actions but what they added really detracts from the fun of the game.
I absolutely do not like things that pop up and cover any game-play area while I am playing.
The guy popping up to tell you WHAT YOU JUST DID is 100% unnecessary and annoying.
IMHO, you should not have to return to the same spot 3 times to collect all of a resource.
Losing your bonus resource / action right after you click on it just because tiny dragons show up is an insult instead of a challenge.
Not having the game advance to higher levels of warehouses or resources is a letdown. It ruins the movement to higher achievement and levels of operation that should be earned toward the middle and end of games. That takes away a good deal of the "reward" factor since even in the last chapter you are struggling with just gathering multiple supplies (with repeated annoying trips) so it just turns into a click-fest.
I cannot comment on music or voiceovers because I always turn them off anyway because it is usually a distraction. The graphics were pleasing except for chapter 2 which was very hard on the eyes. I did not like the attempt at "floating" the screen.
I kind-of liked it but I can't recommend it. I wouldn't buy this again like I would if I ever lost my copy of Plantasia or any of the Emily series.
I didn't really get the sense that this game was ONLY the repetitive clicking or dragging of the mouse to chop or stir foods. I've always hated mini-games that featured these things and I guess I should have tried it before buying it. I only went by the higher ratings of other players and I'm glad some people really like this type of game. I sure don't. It's just a personal preference. To me - it isn't a challenge nor is it fun.
Overall, it was okay. At least it was a TM to download.

I think the storyline and play / quality is okay. But it is my honest opinion that the developers have become extremely lazy. They use the same basic storyboard and code that's already been developed, change graphics, and just enough tweaking to call it a "new" game. SO much more could be done, but you can recognize the same old code being regurgitated again. It's sad when the highlight of the game is finding a puzzle piece. I recommend this game if you just need something to keep you busy. It's not bad, but it's not great either.
Hotel Ever After and the character Ella is good. I look forward to development of this character into something great.
The game times were a bit short (duration of the "day"). There needs to be better upgrades that actually make a noticeable difference in the game.
The story was interesting and the game needs to be AS interesting as the story. Some of the actions to complete tasks interfered with the ability to "chain" service. Selecting actions to be performed quickly in succession was hindered by certain tasks that would break the chain of movement. For instance: taking pictures of the pets. If you selected that, it immediately popped up whereas selecting the safe to get coins did not immediately pop up but you couldn't select what you wanted to pick up and deliver AFTER going to the safe. You had to wait until the safe activity was done.
Overall, it was an enjoyable game but there is room for improvement. Longer task sessions, eliminate the "chopping / slicing food as minigames (boring), and better mini games.
I have all of the DE games and I was very disappointed in this one. I usually look forward to replaying the games multiple times but I won't be playing this one. I'll Go back to Wedding or Honeymoon before I'd play this one again.
Carl is much too easy to find.
The Click-Hold-Rub circles do not belong in this game style. I normally delete these types of games (like the cooking style games that have you slice, chop, hold, etc.). This element alone ruined the overall game experience for "this" player.
There weren't enough item upgrades to make it more interesting.
I do like the minigames, however, the click-accuracy was off in this game and would not register clicks on people or items that you actually click on which wouldn't give you credit for the click and you'd have to repeat the action - thus wasting time or losing the challenge.
If you are going to include a storyline, put more thought into it.
The overall game play was too simplistic. That should be addressed by the levels of Easy, Normal, Expert. Normal play was not very challenging.
What made this a CE?
Overall, I'm not a fan of this one. I'll always love the series, but this game in particular isn't up to par. I'll still recommend it because it is better than "mysteries" and HOGs.
I am a long-time fan and player of TM games and relish the days of games like Diner Dash, Great Wall of China, Delicious Emily series, Cake Mania, BurgerTime 2, LandGrabbers, and other great old titles. What has happened to the EFFORT going into TM games now-days? This was a boring concept, little detail, and the DRAGGING instead of clicking is a decade behind in efficiency and certainly DRAGS down the fun factor. I didn't even finish the free time.
I did love this game even though it is not a real Time Management game. It's more of a hidden object / strategy-ish / memory game.
It was interesting and entertaining enough to keep my attention all the way to the end. The ending was a bit lack-luster though. It should have been more involved and spectacular, but it wasn't.
Overall, I recommend this game for what it is and look forward to replaying it after some time has passed and I've had time to "forget" elements of the journey ;)
Emily's Wonder Wedding is structured well, has great variety, and is challenging. I've been playing it for almost a week just going back through and getting the top level or finding the mouse that I missed on the first time through. Since this is a true time management and not a rigid "series of tasks" that have to be done in order to complete a mission, I finally enjoy giving a TM game 5 stars all the way.
I've been disappointed in the lazy development of other games where the game player has no choice how to complete a day or a mission without following a rigid track that has no challenge but to complete the gathering of the required numbers of food, lumber or gems in a mundane, repetitive task.
Emily and the "Delicious" series does not disappoint!
The ability to choose which tasks to complete and activate a sequence of events based on "your" choosing to accomplish a goal shows the talent and integrity of the developers.
The play is plodding and slow. There is no real "strategy" play here. I didn't even finish the trial time - which is unusual for me. The instructions are poor, the action is labored. All the sound items were annoying. I won't buy this one.
