I played the SE version. The game was quite sweet, without the dark scary story line in many other games. There were just a few HOG with the majority of the games as puzzles. Quite frankly, many of the puzzles didn't make sense. It wasn't that they were hard; I don't think. The directions were not clear for me. After several trials, I still couldn't figure out what I needed to do. Thankfully, the skip (as well as the hint button) really was helpful. I like stories and this looked like a game that was going to provide that. However, in the SE there didn't seem to be any explanation as to why this Raven Queen was connected with the prince. How did certain villagers survive, while others were turned to stone. No idea. Left me hangin'. I really hate it when that happens. Maybe the information was in the CE only. Again, frustrating. They left room at the end for a sequel.
The game was okay. Could have been great with better editing on the story.
I recommend this game!

I played the CE version. With it you get a chapter from the father's point of view and also a behind the scenes with commentary from the creators. Lots of fun. The way the live action is melded into the drawn and computer animation is really fun to watch.
The puzzles were not difficult at all. There is a map but it was not really helpful. I mainly used the hint button to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything within a certain area. Sometimes things are hidden and you really have to look.
I recommend this game!

My first love as far as fiction is concerned has always been sci-fi. You don't see a lot of this genre within the casual gaming choices. This game was lots of fun and not hard to follow at all. I would have liked to have had more background on the characters as they moved from one century to the next, but realize only so much story can be used.
The HOG scenes were fun and interactive and puzzles were not too difficult. If things got too confusing then the hint button was always there to get you going again.
I hope to see more games like this. Maybe a sequel. It sure seemed to be set up for one.
I recommend this game!

Surface: The Noise She Couldn't Make
When a young woman is found comatose by the side of the road with a bloody knife beside her, it's up to you to unravel her story!
This was more of a psychological thriller. It was fun being inside the young ladies mind and connecting the symbols to reality. Thank you for another fun game with fun puzzles, great animation, as well as live action.
I recommend this game!

I had so much fun playing this game. The HOs were interactive, the puzzles were fun, the story line was entertaining, and the visuals spot on and not too dark. I love it when I have to hold onto an object for a bit before fully understanding what I need to do with it. The hint charged quickly, which helped when I was at a loss as to where to go. No problems with the game at all. Thank you for another wonderfully fun game.

The story and game start off well. Sound is fine and graphics are quite beautiful. Even the sparkly areas that did not amount to a HOG were fine. However, the story began to fall apart a third of the way through and the ending was way too abrupt. This game really could have been wonderful. All potential that didn't pan out all the way. I really did enjoy the game aspect, though.
I recommend this game!

At first, the game provided a bit of fun with the combination of hidden object and actual puzzles and activities to perform in order to catch the killer. However, the main character had to go back to the same scenes so many time it was ridiculous. Quite a few times the story line did not make sense or was not logical.
I don't recommend this game.

I have played this game three times now. It is beautifully drawn with a different twist on seek and find. I am getting really tired of the usual hidden objects games and this was a nice change. It has been out quite a while but have not heard of a sequel in the making. The story ends as a partial cliffhanger with an understanding that another game will come along. I have researched it a little and found no information regarding a part 2. This was an easy game that can be accomplished in 3 to 5 hours. There were a few puzzles but nothing to stump you too much. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Developers, please come out with a sequel. Quite a few of us are biting at the bit.
