I really enjoyed this game. There were several different types of puzzles and mini-games. That made this a fun game to play. The story line was interesting and so were the characters. I would play this game again.
I enjoyed the fact that the characters talk! Many times when I play a game, I'll think - I would have said something here. But the game shows nothing. This was a fun game and I enjoyed listening to the characters.

I have done several of the games in the Mystery Trackers series. I found the storyline to be pretty strong, the graphics were good, there's a good map, I love "working" with Elf, the HOS were good. I would recommend this game.
I have a hard time with Domino games. Sometimes the HOS are dark and it's difficult to see things; sometimes there is little logic in what i have to do next. I find myself going through the walk-through too often. It reduces the fun of playing.
I agree this was a slow game to play. Sometimes I wasn't sure what I was to do and where. The graphics were fine but since the characters were animals and the game played slowly, it felt like it was for younger players. But, the story was interesting and the play was fairly linear - not a lot of back and forth from scene to scene. I don't think I would pay money for it.
You play as the Guardian of 2 worlds - Earth and Spectra. The story line follows through and the bonus game gives a prequel to the main story. Some of the mini games had no or little instructions - luckily there is a strategy guide to follow. The HOS were good and there was a variety of them. It was good, and sometimes very good, but not the best game I've played
Sorry, but this game is just too old-fashioned for me. The graphics are good, there was an awful lot of talk but that did introduce the characters and let you know what was going on, sorta. It just wasn't that much fun to play.
The Mystery Case Files series does not disappoint. I like the pirate details, I like the voodoo details. The graphics and sound are very good. The HO scenes are clear and varied. The mini-games are thoughtful and sometimes challenging. What's not to love?
I liked this game but I just couldn't give it more than 4 stars. Thank goodness for the map! I can't remember having to travel to so many different places over and over again. It's much better to go to a place, finish all the puzzles there and move on. If you have to go back to headquarters, ok, but in the middle of searching somewhere else to find something that you need at a different location? Why would it be at headquarters, or somewhere else so far away? All that moving just broke up the story line and eventually was really annoying. I only recommend this title if you don't mind going back and forth and then back and forth several more times!
I've played several Mystery Case Files games and have always enjoyed them so I was looking forward to this one. But, it just wasn't that good. The story line was confusing - who was Ankou? And the bonus game prequel was just as bad. The HOS were ok, but sometimes the object you received was one that wasn't even in the scene. It just didn't deserve my usual 5 stars.
