Nice visuals and some interesting puzzles. However, some puzzles were simply annoying. The main problem was the terrible storyline, which managed to be both banal and unbelievable. Sorry I bought this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I recommend this game, because there are only two choices there, but my recommendation is conditional. For experienced adventure gamers, this is a waste of money. For novices, or for younger gamers, this game might be just the thing.
Awakening: The Dreamless Castle is a retelling of the Sleeping Beauty story in the form of an adventure game. The graphics are lovely and the music is pleasant. As the awakened princess you must find your way out of your castle by using objects that you find along the way and solving various puzzles.
There is a very generous hint system in the form of a fairy whose job is to help you.
I found the puzzles too easy to be very interesting, and the game too short (just over 3 hours). These qualities, however, would make Awakening a good introduction to this type of game for children or novices at this sort of game.
I recommend this game!

This game is an unworthy successor to the two previous games in the Azada series. I was so excited to see Azada 3 at last that I bought the CE, which I rarely do. I regret that decision now.
The game starts out in an interesting way, with an opening reminiscent of the train in Syberia I and II. The first "book" was an interesting interactive adventure with some too-easy puzzles, and a useful hint system. After that the game has gone steadily down hill for me. There is neither a real plot nor any interesting character development. The puzzles are two easy. The hints become less and less usable. And the atmosphere of the game becomes more gruesome and eerie; many developers seem to think this is a good substitue for story or character development.
I don't really mind that the game was a different genre than the other two Azada ones. What I do mind is the low quality and cheap thrills. I doubt I'll finish it.

I enjoyed this game, and was sorry it ended so quickly. The graphics were of good quality. The story was good and refreshingly free from the morbid and creepifying tone we have come to see too much of.
The puzzles were a little too easy for my taste.
My primary complaint was that the game is too short. I felt somewhat cheated. I recommend buying this game when it's on sale.
I recommend this game!

I downloaded this game to remember it, and to see if I wanted to buy the sequels. Turns out I had forgotten because nature had drawn a merciful veil over the memory of my first playthrough. The H0 scenes are ugly piles of junk, blurry and not very well drawn. The silhouette type puzzles at the end of each chapter had my eyes stinging and watering even more than the H0 scenes. And to cap it off, the story shows a young woman born to be a victim; she's so stupid, I wonder how she made it through teacher's college.
I don't recommend this game.

Playing Tales of Lagoona was the most fun I have had with a Hidden Object game in a long time. This was also one of the most relaxing games I have had in a long time. Beautiful graphics are accompanied by beautiful music in a series of H0 scenes and puzzles strung together by a heart-warming story told with humor and grace.
In TofL you are saving an undersea mansion-turned-orphanage from an evil developer. You learn a great deal about the undersea community in the course of the story. Without going into further detail, I'll just say that there are many references to our oversea culture
The H0 scenes are the rooms of the mansion. All of them are beautiful, with crisp, clear graphics. No white-on-white hidden objects here. It is so refreshing to find an H0 game that's easy on the eye in both senses.
After each search, you are given a puzzle to solve. Early in the game the puzzles are very easy, but they progress in difficulty. Puzzles can be skipped. The menu has a separate entry that lets you replay any puzzle you have already encountered in the main game. A nice feature for puzzle addicts like me.
The music is what I would call soft jazz. I find it extremely relaxing and sometimes play a puzzle just to hear the music.
Wallpapers are offered as extras in the SE, I'm using them now.
The only improvement I would make to this game is to add an Unlimited Search option at the end of the game.
I recommend this game!

Syberia is a masterpiece. Visually stunning from the opening scene to the last moments. Beautiful music. A story that takes the player through a wide range of emotions, and is always compelling. An adventure so well told that the cut scenes are worth replaying.
Game play can be challenging as you try to figure out what to do next. Fortunately BFG has a walkthrough and other walkthroughs are available online.
If you like adventure and/or RPG games at all, do yourself a favor and buy this one.
I recommend this game!
