You are a detective trying to help a little girl find her mom at a Dark Creepy Carnival because she was taken by a man and a dark entity. You also get a helper monkey early on in the game to help get those items jut out of your reach.
So far the games arent too challenging, but I did put it on casual. The story, graphics, sound effects and voice overs make up for the fairly easy games.
If you love creepy, you will love this game. You get a map and as far as I can tell there are no time penalties for too many wrong clicks, at least not on casual which is the difficulty level I played.
Sound and visuals are great in my opinion.A wonderful buy for 1 credit. I am going now to use one of my built up member credits on this.
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
This game does have hidden objects, but not too over run, at least not in demo. It has HO every little bit, but not every 2 seconds. Real Actors, Cutscenes of the News bulletins look like real News feeds.
Customize your Level Difficulty on easy, medium and hard. You can do each thing individual from how fast hint recharges, HO scenes Sparkles or no Sparkles, and the Tutorial. All things can be customized.
STORYLINE:
You have to search an almost abandoned city to find a only surviving 6 year old twin girl of a virus that has no known cure. Both girls got sick, 1 died and the other got better but went missing. They think since she is the only one to get better after getting sick that her DNA holds answers to a cure.
You are searching for the surviving girl and also trying to uncover the origins to this mysterious virus before everyone gets infected and dies. There is a creepy part not too far into it, if you like creepy, this is for you. No jump up and screams in the demo, but you do find something that may startle you.
I love this kind of thing so I give it 5 stars, wish I could give more than 5 actually. Not your usual stuck in a haunted house thing where you interact with ghosts, but I love those too.
The audio and visuals are great. I played til the end of the demo, had 8 minutes left. Some HO are a little challenging on what to find and where to put it, not your normal find 19 useless items to get 1 useful 1. You use all but the last within the HO and the last is to be used in the game.
Some of the puzzles are fairly easy like 1 you have to put a torn electric bill back together, but others are a little more challenging. Kind of a mixture of easy and medium-hardish puzzles.
I have 1 credit and when my credit for this month kicks in, the next day or 2, I will be using them for this game. I may give in and use a little from my checking account later tonight when its more creepy to play these kinds of games and go ahead and get it.
Rescue a young girl from the Penumbra Motel. Solve puzzles, unravel a long standing mystery of death and disappearances in this heart-pounding adventure game!
From what I could tell in the demo, it isnt really a Hidden Object game but does have the aspect of collecting items to use other places. It has REAL ACTORS, VOICE OVERS, Very nice graphics and sound effects.
It kind of reminds me of 7th Guest, 11th Hour Faust games I LOVED from the 90's. The main villain kind of reminded me of Faust a little bit from those games.
It has plenty of creepy factors, so if you like sudden frights from time to time this is a MUST have. I just finished the demo and have 4 credits, gone to use 2 of them now on this.
Check your box (looks like a toolbox) at the bottom right of the screen from time to time when you get medals and movie reels. You need to watch the reels because they are important to the story, from what I can tell.
This was a wonderful demo. Great voiceovers, beautiful graphics and the sound was nice as well. Most of the Hidden Object scenes from the demo had a fun aspect of finding a few items and then using those same items in the hidden object scene to find something else you need.
STORYLINE :
You are a princess that is suppose to marry a prince from a kingdom who has been a rival for 300 years. Your marriage is suppose unite the two kingdoms. There is an evil sorcerer like guy named Isa. He gets involved of course and you have to try to stop him.
There are beautiful animals such as Panther, Fox, and even a Fairy Mouse you collect. You encounter a Wood Nymph in a tree midway through the demo, so its a fantasy game with some intense scenes. It is a DEFINITE buy in my opinion. I will be purchasing this game as soon as I submit this review and I strongly recommend this game if you like Hidden Objects with a beautiful fantasy aspect in the storyline.
I am pretty happy with the demo, I hope the full game is exciting like the demo was. There are some sudden thrills with audio and visuals.
You are heir to an island with a mystery and the storyline seems pretty interesting. I like thrills with a game, like sudden movements and sounds. Like opening a box and something popping out, or opening a door and a loud boom sounds across the room, or maybe you look at a fireplace and it just starts blazing.
This game has plenty of that, at least the demo does, I am hoping all the thrills werent just in the demo.
The demo wasnt too easy or too difficult, about a medium. Some puzzles in the demo were kinda easy, but the storyline, audio and graphics make up for the sort of easy puzzles.
The only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 is because the puzzles could be a little more challenging, that being said I still will use my credits for this game.
