not a great game... for players who like HOS

It's hard to come after the "Nutcracker" !
I don't care if there is a map or not (I don't use maps), if there are achievements or not, I don't like "morphing objects", for me, the most important thing is the gameplay.
It doesn't matter if the story is not very original but here, too many many HOS and they are not interactive, just a list of objects to find like in the first "puzzle adventure HOS" games.
If you are stuck in the game, you must look for a HOS !
So, I recommand to buy this game in SE if you have no more game to play... or if you love HOS !
It's just my point of view of course !

I am an "expert" if we can say it : I play this kind of game since years and I play a lot ! I have plaid the whole game bonus included.
It's another story with a witch, yes, but I like games with witches, magicians, murders, all the games. And the more important for me is the gameplay.
There are HOS but not plenty and not difficult, they are a bit interactive, no problems for me (I don't like HOS !).
There is no map, no diary, but I like that, the game is more challenging and when there are map and diary, I don't use them. The hint button recharge quickly, even in advanced mode and I like that too : I use the hint only in the HOS for the last object to find.
There plenty of places to visit, even in the bonus and that's good !
This game is also very fun : we got powers gradually in the game when we help people in difficulty and the end of the game is really very fun to play !
It's a very good CE. You'll play this game with a great pleasure if you buy it !

A very good story : we are a detective, we must solve a mystery : where is the missing magician and what happens to him ? Who is the criminal ? They are all suspects...
We walk into a circus of course : I love this kind of games !
The graphics are very colored, there are a lot of HOS but they are easy and bright, a bit interactive.
There are also many puzzles, they are easy but fun.
A very good game to spend quality time with fun, waiting an excellent CE tomorrow I hope !

I was very disappointed when I played the whole game. Too much, too much HOS !
It's a game for players who love HOS. Yes, they are interactive like in a lot of games now, it's fun at the beginning but you can't take a single step without finding a HOS or two !
And objects are tiny or very well hidden...
Fortunately, there are many puzzles, not very challenging but fun.

Je l'ai fait en anglais, bonus compris et j'ai adoré : rien n'est à jeter dans ce jeu, c'est un enchantement permanent, des heures de pur plaisir.
Il n'est pas trop difficile et tant mieux, quand cela devient trop difficile, on se démotive.
Un très bon scénario avec cette guerre entre deux royaumes, phoenix et dragon, qui ne peut être arrêtée que si le prince et la princesse de ces deux royaumes respectifs se marient avec un amour véritable, avec énormément d'embûches avant d'en arriver là heureusement pour nous. Et pour une fois, ça n'est pas le preux chevalier qui court au secours de sa belle princesse, là, c'est le contraire, cela m'a bien plu !
Des graphismes magnifiques, superbement bien colorés et enfin, de l'originalité dans les scènes d'objets cachés.
Des puzzles plus ou moins faciles, à chacun de voir, mais agréables à faire. Un jeu que je referai volontiers, ce qui est rare, mais toujours en anglais !
Amusez-vous bien et profitez-en, ce genre de jeu super est tellement rare : un remonte-moral garanti !

I buy and play, of course, all the CE in english (I'm french) and I've played this one, including bonus, with a very great pleasure. Yes, we must again save children but the storyline is very interesting and we must fight against the reaper not against a woman who wants just stay young ! The game as very beautiful graphics, not dark, colored, HO are easy to find with interactive objects. Puzzles are easy but original (the scenes of theater for example) : it fells good not to repeat always the same puzzles even if they are more challenging.
The music is soft and a little nostalgic, I like that.
The characters are very well integrated in the game, bravo !
And we discover, like in all CE, a lot of places to explore, I love that ! To buy absolutely !

I love the "Dana Knighstone Novels" : a reel puzzle aventure game without too much HOS... I will wait with a great impatience for the third !
