Arcade Mode will save but too difficult to progress

I purchased the game. I really enjoyed the game in Arcade Mode until it just became too difficult to progress. When I switched to relaxed mode, as others have said, it did not save the game, taking me back to where I had stopped in Arcade mode.
If the developers will fix this, I would rate the game higher. As is, not worth it.
This is an endearing and unique game...a true treasure. Rarely do I find a game that I really, REALLY want to purchase. I don't do many CE's, so I will wait until games are at least half off to buy, or wait for the SE.
The story line is unique and nice. The puzzles and hidden objects are presented in a unique way and fun. The artwork is outstanding.
I loved the way that you could tell whether the object you were looking for was in the scene or not by the color change on the icon.
The game, as a whole reminds me a lot of Tiny Bang Story, which I loved.
I loved everything about this game. Highly recommend! More games like this one, please!
I was quickly drawn in to the story. Awesome graphics, music and plot. I thought it was going to be a great mystery. I laughed out loud at the plot twist right before the demo ran out and I quickly purchased it.
After that, it quickly devolved into monsters, spirits, and magic. There are so many directions to take a story besides the supernatural. Why do all of the developers go there?
The puzzles and hidden objects were fun and struck just the right balance between easy and hard... but I really lost interest when the story line changed to spirits, monsters and magic. There are a lot of us out here who really don't enjoy the dark story lines.
One other point: This game hung up a lot for me. Many times I had to just wait in the middle of a puzzle until I could play again. I'm running Windows 7, so that could be part of the problem. I haven't had any other games do this so far.
This one had so much potential. I was very disappointed after I purchased the game and the story line went downhill. If you like that sort of thing, you will probably love this game. The three star rating is mostly for the story line and the freezing during game play.
Having read reviews of Nancy Drew games, I finally decided to try this one. I'm turned off by most of the other hidden object puzzles due to the dark and evil story lines. I had hope with this one, and looked forward to a good mystery without monsters, murderers and spirits.
There was no map for navigation, no hints, and no skip button for the puzzles. I love puzzles if I can figure them out. Sometimes, I can't figure them out and need to skip.
I understand that some people love these kinds of games where there are few instructions, and I'm always up for a good brain teaser, but I got lost on the lake and couldn't find my way out. That's infuriating.
This could have been a good game with a few of the standard features added. As is, not worth the frustration for me.
Demons, Ghosts, Cemeteries, Magic. I normally avoid games with this theme, but bought this since it was a 'Christmas' game. There is nothing about this game that is 'Christmas' except for the scenery and objects in the HOG's.
I felt really creeped-out playing this game...especially the last few scenes. There were lots of Hidden Object games and decent puzzles throughout... I just couldn't stand the theme or story.
Big Fish--you would make a mint if you came out with more games that are not full of demons, magic and darkness.
