I love it when I stumble across a game I haven't ever tried ... and it's a great one! A lovely surprise of a game. Other reviewers are correct: This was definitely designed as a CE, although I guess it never became one. It's not perfect, for sure - there are a couple of lapses toward the end - but all in all, it's still worth my 5 stars. It was fun to have an inventory full of items, none of them apparently useful for the tasks at hand. Liked the old-fashioned, yet tricky, HO scenes. And I played on the easy level!
I recommend this game!

This game is fantastic: The story makes sense; everything works; the characters are pleasant, realistic, and not annoying; it doesn't fall apart or lose its quality at the end. I suppose the remainder of the story is in the CE ... I played the regular version of the game.
I recommend this game!

I was just looking for some light game-du-jour entertainment today, and found myself instead looking at religious symbolism and nativity scenes. Not what I expected.

I found this game to be fantastic, very generous in its offerings, challenging, thought-provoking, seamless, and fun. I play a lot of these, but very few actually stick out in my mind. This is one of the special ones. I bought the CE and played at the casual level. At least try it!
I recommend this game!

My favorite part about Unwell Mel is the obvious thoughtfulness that went into its creation. (Even if the whizzes at BFG took only 3 hours to make it, the game shows lots of care and expertise.) The music and sound effects, the humor, the premise, every detail is relevant and intelligent. Of all the BFG games I've purchased, this is the only one I keep permanently installed on my home computer. Bring on Unwell Mel 2!
