I must start my review with the reason I dislike it so much; The bad graphics and the "video" of the main assailants in the "game" I do not like the use of z grade actors in what could be a very good game. other than that the story line was contrite and boorish and puzzles were of no challenge what so ever. I bought the CE and would really like a refund for lack lustre standard of the game, My opinion ;)

There are 3 major things you need to know about this "game". 1) It is not for children!! 2) It is extremely graphic, so if you are the least bit squimish do not bother. 3)It is more like an interactive Sherlock Holmes movie than a game and if you suffer vertigo or motion sickness, again it is not for you, as most of it still has to be played in the 1st person. Other than that it is awesome!!, Graphics are a little clunky, but you get used to that fairly quickly. You have to pay attention to this game, read the documents provided to you or you will not be able to complete the quizzes along the way. It is not a mindless HOG, this is a true Sherlock Holmes mind bender and if you allow yourself to be drawn into it you are in for a truly awesome ride. It took me what seemed like 12 hours of game play, so it is a bargain for length of time, and I learnt a very important thing, save the game habitually about every 10 min or you run the risk of getting yourself killed off and having to replay your entire session, yes that happened to me, lol. Some people have complained that the quizzes are too hard, they aren't if you are paying attention!! And the puzzles are quite easy. You just have to become Sherlock and look at everything, leave no stone unturned!!!

I was shocked by this SE, not only because it comes with a prologue bonus chapter, but the shear enjoyment of this awesome game, my only negative is that like so many of these games it is a little all over the place, but it has a map and a notebook. I give it 10 stars though for shear enjoyment and value for money, really is a must have!!1

Oh dear, with such awesome reviews I bought this outright without playing the demo. I find it childish and very simple, very low challenge level compared with the recent releases. I am not sure if I can finish this game............ it is realy very tedious. Sorry BFG, this is not up to the normal standard...... :(

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and it was educational as well. I had no idea Mark Twain's real name was Samuel Clemens. The story was great, the way it was tied into both fact and fantasy. The puzzels aren't hard at all, but it is fun and thoroughly entertaining and having only paid $3.99 for it a bargain to boot. While it is educational it is not for the kiddies does contain dark themes and not just the Faustain ones.
I just read some of the reviews below and I admit I am a stranger to the Azada series, disappointed, no way, I went for the hard core setting and it is like an interactive movie, the visuals are stunning, it is like a Hitchcock movie you could play over and over, i actually think it would more enjoyable if i took it in the advanced setting with a bit more interaction. Puzzles, no there aren't any real puzzles, the entire thing is a puzzle, do you self a favour try it and buy it!!!
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
Overall this was not enjoyable at all, the scare factor was minimal, it is no deep psychological thriller, but the gross out factor was extreme, I almost lost my dinner having to squeeze the pimples on the mother's face. The puzzles were not challenging and one was a complete rip of, unchanged from a game released prior to this one, that I bought on this site. I found the storyline awkward and lazy especially once you get to act 5 and it basically packs it's self up and goes home, it literally to 10 min to do the last two acts ( even figuring out I did not have photo for the last handle), compared to several of hours for the first 4 acts. And the strategy guide is useless, and the diary does not record noteable events so you find your self jotting down notes all the time, I want a refund basically. Not Happy, very disappointed!!
