This game is like a good book. I can't put it down. I like the characters. They're adult people, solving unusual problems. This game moves fast and is full of little challenges that don't put you to sleep. It also has puzzles that are pretty good although I did skip one without regret. There are also a few HOs. Some that require finding things to open the lists. All were enjoyable, so far. There are three items to find in each scene that are a little too easy, but still fun. They don't stop the story while you hunt them down. I'm 4 hours into the game and still had to force myself to quit. I never stop to submit a review, but have read so many bad ones lately that I thought that I should complement a good one. I usually have 3 games going at once and go back and forth when I want to take a break, but this game will hold my interest until I'm done.
I played the demo and really enjoyed the storyline. I also liked all the puzzles. It has everything I enjoy in a casual game. The reason I couldn't purchase it is because the authors have no imagination with tag lines. "Think, think, think". That drove me nuts. Why not a couple of 'Sorry, that's wrong' or 'You can't do that.' even 'That's a dumb move.' would work. I didn't buy another game because of 'think, think, think. I tried very hard to get passed it, because it's a good game, but it ruined the pleasure of the game play. I would advise the game designers to think, think, think, and come up with a variety of error lines.

I almost didn't try this game because of the low rating but this is now one of my favorites. I don't know why there is a problem with the story line. They are all a bit corny and this one isn't any better, but it moves the game along at a good pace without needing to skip most of the dialogue. The puzzles are excellent. I love the challenge. And the hints in the tough ones are enough to help move a step further, but don't spoil the whole puzzle. I'm playing the standard edition and wish now that I got the CE. This game is one of the best I have played and I recommend that you try the trial version before totally trusting the ratings.
