I love these types of games. I tend not to do them due to getting frustrated. I found that most tend to be too hard or too easy. These games are a little different. They start off easy and the difficulty increases. There is a lot of variations on basic themes. An example; finding the two halves of an object. Sounds simple? Well the halves of some items look like like they shouldn't make a whole. Then matching color item to its black and white or shadow double is also a bit tricky. A lot of variety of games here too. These games can be played by all ages. A fun way to keep the mind alert. I haven't used it, but I am glad that there is a skip button.

This is a fun match 3 with excellent graphics and sound effects. I loved how each level had progressively harder objectives to complete. Some objectives are a combination of firing cannons, opening trunks, chasing lady bugs or matching tiles after setting them on fire and lead the tiles to iced coins for defrosting. I definitely enjoyed the difficulty option; Casual with unlimited moves and time or limited time or limited moves. This makes this game good for different levels of match 3 players. This game also has a couple of mini games spaced thru it. The spot the differences is on the hard side. The differences are often so slight that they can be easily overlooked. I used the hint button a lot. The second is a card solitaire game. It has a skip button for those not interested. My only complaint is that there isn't a way to replay levels once you move on to next level.

The mosaics were fun with different challenge factors. I liked the restart feature. There seemed to be too few mosaics to do. I ordinarily do one or two mosaics a day. Doing this I completed this game in less then a month.

I enjoyed this mosaic game a lot. The mosaics had different challenge factors. Some were difficult while others seemed too easy. I like to get the maximum of 3 stars on each mosaic. The difficult mosaics took considerable time for this. I liked the reset button to start mosaic over. The story factor was interesting. I liked the fact that there is a way to reread the story line. I did go one step more. Each of the castles listed in game are real life places. My curiosity had me look them up.

This is a fun game. Some of the mini games and puzzles are a little too easy. It looks like this is game one of a series. I hope the sequels aren't too long in the making. This is an excellent game for beginners to consider.

I played Mortimer Beckett games in past. For various reasons, I have not played them in many years. I saw this and nostalgia prompted to give it a try. I could not play past the tutorial. The graphic effects, challenge seemed about average. The storyline looked interesting. The reason for my negative review is this. Due to physical problems, I cannot use computer mouse with the 'standard' click settings. I have basic click reversed. This game does accept these settings. I thought I had a mouse malfunction. ALL other Big Fish games currently being played accept the change. So it is this particular game for whatever reason will not. It was a disappointment. I want to warn others of this to avoid their disappointment.

I have been away from hidden these types of games for awhile. Updated computer and I was surprised. The graphics are excellent. The hidden objects are fun. Some of the mini quests are time worn. But the graphics makes these new again. Some of the graphic effects are superb. This is a fun game.

The graphics and mini puzzles were ok. The challenge wasn't as high I expected. I found several errors in the Strategy Guide. If you are a player who depends upon the SG, you may have problems. The story line was a little predictable. Some of the tasks needing to be done seemed to be put in place as fillers. It was a bit disappointing that I completing the game including bonus in less then 5 hours.
I recommend this game!

I enjoy this game and the variety in it. I have played it for several weeks. The game is enjoyable; however I am writing a negative review and will no longer play this game. It requires too much use of the mouse and click button. The click and drag is needed to explore the main map for some tasks. It is also needed with some modes the rooms being explored go into. Especially the mode with the fog. It is necessary to click an area in order to remove the fog to search for items. The fog is constantly moving so areas need to be clicked frequently. This is a problem for those with handicaps. I have severe hand and wrist arthritis. My time of mouse use is limited brief periods daily. I have to over click these rooms because of their nature. There is no way around it. This increases my pain and limits play time even more. It is possible to purchase with Real Life funds, virtual items to aid in removing these obstacles. This can get expensive.
