Lost Lands is definitely my favorite series. The games are so incredibly fun to play. I really particularly enjoy that the HOS are all seek and use. No looking for a pipe or an apple you don't even need or want.
In this game we are again playing as Susan. The Lost Lands have frozen over in spring, and she has to help solve the problem. The characters are as always interesting. I especially enjoyed the little goblin guy, who reminded me of Dobby from Harry Potter.
As for the game play, it has 4 settings, including custom. I always choose custom and move the hint and skip to the lowest setting. I did not need to use either though. The interactive map allows you to jump, which is very helpful. Graphics are great. I never pay much attention to the sound, so it must not have been bad, since I didn't even notice it.
I love love love this series and hope it continues for some time. Thanks Fivebn for another job well done!
This has been my favorite game so far this year. Money well spent. A longer game than many that are put out. Usually only takes me an hour and half to two hours to play these HOPA games, but this was over 3. Really enjoyed the graphics and story line. Easy play-ability. Highly recommend everyone to at least try the demo. Definitely hope to see this turn into a series. Excellent game!
Richard Stone finds traces of an unknown civilization when investigating disappearance of the chief engineer. The find will lead Richard to the most amazing adventure of his life.
I thought this game was a lot of fun. It is not a HOG. There are absolutely no HOS. My issue with the game is it only took me an hour and a half to complete. It lets you completely use up the 60 minutes of free trial and then I bought to only have 30 min of game play left. So sad. Fun concept though. I wish they made more like these, instead of big junk piles you have to sift through to find random objects you don't even use.
I loved the first Darkness & Flame, and the sequel did NOT disappoint. Fivebn games are my favorite because the HOS are seek and use. There was only one HOS which was find all the objects in a list. This game was a lot of fun to play. Great graphics and story-line. There is a Custom game play option where you can set skip and hint to 5 seconds, but I didn't need to use them. Interactive map that lets you know where there is an active task and allows you to jump the the location. Wasn't overly challenging. Just a fun game to play.
I really enjoyed playing this game. Great graphics. Interactive map that tells you where there are active tasks and transports you. Very cool concept. Hope this becomes a series. I liked that you go a bracelet with powers to use. Good length on the game time as well. There are 4 levels of play with a custom option that you can set skip and hint to 10 seconds, which I think is important. Overall very enjoyable game play.
I enjoyed playing this game. Just enough HOS to not be overwhelmed by them. Loved the flying tiger. A lot of back and forth with different objects. Plus that there is a map that lets you know where active tasks are. The princess was a little annoying butting in with dialog, but he game was fun to play.
I really enjoy this series. The storyline was a little lacking in this one. Scorned woman has been done so many times! Of course you start off with a sled crash. They have to find a better opening to these games. Those were the negative aspects for me. This game didn't have a bunch of HOS, which I prefer. A lot of back and forth with different objects. I like this, but I have seen reviews on other games where people don't. Overall a nice little game. Great artwork!
I really enjoyed playing this game. If you are looking for a game with a lot of HOS this isn't for you. The HOS are varied in style, not just find a bunch of junk in a pile you can't use. I LOVE the scarecrow helper. He is so adorable. You do get to choose whether or not to use him, but why wouldn't you?!?!
This game was very interesting and fun to play! Loved the healing abilities and storyline. If you are looking for a plain old HOS this isn't your game. The HOS were varied on the type and they weren't an overwhelming part of the game. I hope they make this a series.
Five-BN games are my favorite, and they have done it again. Great story-line and very interesting game. I love that the HOGs aren't regular Hidden Object scenes. I have always preferred seek and use scenes. This kept me interested from start to finish. Hope they come out with another one.
