A bunch of little people put out to sea, looking for a new home. They learn to fish, grow crops, build, and do manual labor. The really important priority (other than food) is to build a science lab. Several scientists allow faster upgrades, but if you don't build a lot of storage for food the tribe starves and they aren't able to work if hungry. Potions enhance, but when you find some helpful ones, write them down. They need a recipe book.
I don't recommend this game.

Chocolatier
Elusive ingredients, high prices and conniving competitors make being a chocolatier more fudge-strating than you thought!

The first game in this series I played was the 3rd, "Decadence by Design" and LOVED its unique story and gameplay. I actually played "Chocolatier" 2nd, and "Secret Ingredients" last. There is a timeline in the series so I recommend they be played in order. "Chocolatier" takes place around the turn of the century, with interesting characters and exotic ports of call. I've played through several times and will play it again.

The story line here is kind of irrelevant. In each of the travel cities, you have to solve the same puzzles to win recipes. It wasn't what I expected, and I found it repetitive. Unfortunately, I bought the game outright without playing the trial. I probably won't even play it again.

Really not my cup of tea. If you play games like Farmville on Facebook, this one is pretty much the same. You start off with the bare basics, a little energy, and a list of "goals". The best upgrades almost require you to buy some game cash, so much for "free to play". Technically, you can play the game without them, but the going is slow, you have very little energy at first, and if you leave crops in the field, they'll be dead when you return.

Fairy Maids is really fun. Talk about Fractured Fairy Tales! This one takes your favorite old fairy tales and characters with enough twists and turns for anyone. It's a visual banquet, too, with beautiful graphics and ok music. Worth playing and then playing again.

I like TM games, but this one wasn't for me. I didn't even last through the free trial. Too slow, and you spend a lot of time waiting for tasks to be finished.

I love this game! Lots of freedom and choices, and it can be as easy or challenging as you want. At the shop, you're given the hot category (like sports, military memorabilia, stamps and currency, etc) of the day and off you go. Items collected in that category get extra points, but you can collect anything you want. Back to the shop to sell your items or put them up for auction. Compete against other pickers or not. Great game. Waiting for another as fun as this one.

There is more than just aquiring a real estate empire going on in this game. In addition, you're trading products and gambling on their futures which can inject some serious buying power into your bank account. Like Monopoly, it can be kid-friendly fun or ruthless empire building. Love it!

I LOVE this game. The other 2 were fun, but this one really rocks. You get to design outfits yourself and complete against the JoJo and Ros creations on the runway. AWESOME!

When this first came out, I bought it without playing it first. I loved the first one, and figured the sequel would be even better. It is different, lots of paths to explore, but truthfully, I was a little let down. It was fun, though, and I'd recommend it.
