Very boring and frustrating. you could only make one burger at a time and as always with teenagers they have no patience. If I wanted a career making burgers it would be a good tutorial I guess. I saw equations on the chalkboard on the side that had something to do with math but I was trying to keep up and couldn't see what was being written. why do developers do that, you have no time to read. Also the rat was another pain in the butt. another thing I didn't have time for though he was bringing out my assault capabilities pretty good. this game could have been a three but just to many things to annoy me. I played until level 8 or 9 before it threw me back to the main menu to start over because I didn't complete the level in the required time, the 3 times they allow you, I wasn't into that so I deleted the game, I really didn't want to have to play the whole game over because of one level. No upgrades or anything up to that level either, unless it was items for your burger. For me this was a no buy but some like the fast pace so try it before buying.
I don't recommend this game.

I played this game and thought it was kind of cute and different if you just like to find things, When the fireballs started getting in my way I figured I'd keep playing even if they were starting to annoy me but I wanted to keep playing to see what other challenges they had. I really had to quit though when the scenes started moving from side to side. I actually made me nauseous and gave me a headache so I had to shut it down and delete it. If you have any vision problems this isn't the game for you. graphics were very small too. This is a no buy for me but someone else may like it. I would recommend you play till the sliding scenes and see if your immune to the motion sickness.
I don't recommend this game.

I don't know if its the same developer but this is just like the earlier version of the Delicious Emily series. The graphic's were a bit small that's why I said it was an earlier version but not a problem. Still had the mouse you had to find but I didn't recognize any of the characters from the series yet. I liked the game but I like these kind of games anyway. I had to play one of the challenge games a few times to get to the next level but my time ran out just as I was making progress. I think it would be interesting to play the other levels. As far as the story goes I pretty much kept skipping the text part cause I just wanted to play the game and this game is just as chatty as the Delicious games, I figure when I buy the game I'll pay attention to the story, but it had the same outline, mean boss, worker doing all the work, everyone else just getting mad because worker isn't fast enough and mouse popping out of weird places. When another sale comes around I will buy this because I am curious now on what comes next and this is different. I only played the demo so I don't know how much more challenging it will get, but based off the demo it seems like it will be interesting. Sometimes I got caught up on what the actors were saying that I forgot to tend the customers. LOL The game played well for me, a little sluggish at times but it could have been just me. I don't know about the rewards or what else comes with the collectors edition, I just play the games and not worry about the other stuff. Overall I think this was a very good game. The 4 star rating was just because some of the visuals were small and a few things were hard to grasp. Try it yourself, who knows how it will work for you but I think if you like Emily you'll like this.
I recommend this game!

This is my first ever review of a game so bare with me. This game was just no fun for me. I love the tower defense games in fact I have all three Toy Defense and the humorous Garden Defense that started it all for me, but this..
First off there really wasn't any sense to it. I get that you lay traps but as one reviewer says, it was to confusing on what killed who. There really wasnt that many traps you could lay in the small area you covered.
Unlike tower defense where you can see after the enemy stormed the castle how many men have fallen, here there was nothing, they just walked past your traps and went in the crystal wall and that was it. I could almost swear one character thumbed their nose at me, I so missed my sniper at the top of the building.
Some of the characters walked to fast over the traps that it didnt effect them at all and the money you made for the ones you killed really didn't seem to upgrade your traps that much. I got so bored at one point I made all the traps the heating grill just to see what would happen.
Frankly this game just wasn't it for me. I couldnt wait for the demo to end but I kept playing figuring it would get better. On the positive side though some of the characters were different. When I saw the record machine man come out it was "O.k thats new" but then when the woman came out riding a lizard and throwing mushrooms in the air, I had to get up and get a cup of coffee hoping the timer would run down, but no such luck the game went on to the trolls. sigh.
Do I recomend the game? Eh. It matters what you like, its not tower defense that I'm partial to, I like setting up my strategy and knowing what weapons are needed, in fact I scare my husband sometimes and he's a former marine. Here you can't do that because there is no room. This also doesn't give you a heads up on who's coming in the wave so you can effectively set up the traps.
All in all if you want to play a game of strategy, this isn't it, in my opinion, but if you want to play a game thats a little different and with quirky characters, go for it, but I highly recomend downloading the demo to make sure its what you want.
I don't recommend this game.
