I always enjoy these games from Casual Arts. I too was a little disappointed at seeing the same scenes and people from earlier versions. However, I realize that the UK has been hard hit by Covid. It's very possible the developers were doing their very best considering isolation mandates and labor shortages. I'm just pleased they were able to give us another Christmas Wonderland. Thank you.
I have all the Vacation games. I was pleased to see that this latest release had new scenes in it. I was getting a little tired of seeing the same Park Ranger scenes in what were supposed to be new releases. These are nice hidden object games. I'm not a fan of the mini games, but I know a lot of people enjoy them so I just wait for a few seconds and skip most of them.
Was glad to see a new installment in this series. However, the transparent message are driving me insane. Hard to read the message and hard to see what's behind it.
Help Flavius expand the Roman Empire! Haggle with shopkeepers, collect supplies, build bridges and more in this exciting time- and resource-management adventure!
These are the types of games I like--no supernatural stuff, just a nice road-type game. However, I do wish these developers knew that there is an apostrophe key on their keyboards! I don't think that a single contraction in the entire game has one. Yes, I can figure out what the text is, but everything else is pretty good quality, why can't they get those apostrophes where they belong?
I enjoy TM games and own several. This is a basic example of the genre. It's not as good as the Weather Lord, Moai, or Roads of Rome series, but it's worth playing. The poor English sometimes disrupts the play because you have to stop so you can try to figure out what they're saying. I have noticed other games that have a slight English problem, but this one is the worst I've seen. I don't understand why so many game developers don't have their text proofread.
This game had such potential at first, but after you reach a certain point it's just not fun any more. I'm on Level 21 so I've given it a fair try. There is more repetition than I have seen on any other game--over and over. . . . and then over and over again. I am not exaggerating here. You will have to play the same hidden object scene hundreds of times, looking for the same items. And you will have to wait an hour before you can play that scene again. How could anyone possibly think this would be fun or interesting? I don't get it. Someone has seriously misjudged how to create an interesting and popular game.
I don't mind spending a little money on a game--they worked hard to develop it. I don't expect a free lunch. But to avoid having to play the same scenes over and over and over I would have to spend hundreds of real dollars and that's just ridiculous.
I write for a living and I cannot find words strong enough to describe what a failure this game is.

I have played many and own several jigsaw puzzle games, but this is the best ever. I can control how difficult the puzzle is, the shapes of the pieces, whether I want to rotate the pieces or not. I can create new piece shapes and puzzles of my own pictures...and I can create new folders to put my new puzzles in.
