I am/was a real fan of this series until we got to this one. I understand tweaking the story line a bit for the sake of a game but this one has no connection to the Poe story at all!
Besides that, there is no ending! Even the bonus story fails to bring it to a conclusion; it assumes we know already. We do not - they never truly resolve this mystery. If not for the handsome detective, I would give this one a single star.
This is not a game for adults, gamers, science buffs, or anyone who has involvement with space. Unfortunately this game isn't even bad enough to be funny - it's just dull. The demo lasted me 16 minutes, including a replayed level - not enough time to really evaluate a game, but after playing the demo I wasn't interested enough to pay money for the rest. Very slow, not enough actual playing time, flat graphics - especially for 3D.
I do not recommend this at all. Not even as a daily deal.
Just finished this one after trying it years ago, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. Once I got past the initial part of the game I discovered a wonderful mystery story that truly captured my attention.
Our heroine (us) is in a coma and reliving moments in her life as she tries to piece together what happened to her. This is no evil spirit trying to take over the world story; rather this is the story of a woman's past and where her life has brought her. For anyone who has lost loved ones, and wonders how their decisions in life could have made things different, this is the game for you.
The mini games are not the hardest, nor are the hidden object scenes difficult, but this game will get you thinking. Not quite linear, some things can be done in your own order and still bring you to the quite satisfying conclusion. The hint button is not the best, but will let you know what things still need to be done. The load times between scenes are long, but offer good tips, and the story line is best left to play out – if you click too soon you might miss an important point.
I have all the games in this series so had to have this one. It did not disappoint! I totally loved it and the various places the storyline took me.
The little impish guy S.G. is back for more devilry and this time he brought zombies! It is our job to get rid of S.G. and his hoard of undead, as well as deal with a little monkey.
The puzzles are not hard, the hidden objects range from standard to "put it back" type and are interactive. Game play is not quite linear so you can got where you want to, though if you go too far you might have to backtrack.
My only complaint is the sudden ending that leaves a few things unanswered. Another game on the way? Sure hope so!
Cargo flight 821 has crashed on an uncharted, beautiful and deadly planet. Your only companion is the trustworthy robot, Oscar and together you must escape.
This game is a real disappointment to a science fiction fan who is also a hard-core gamer. Ok, so I wasn't expecting anything resmembling the $40 plus games I used to buy, but wow, 99c is too much for this one.
No real direction, garish graphics, cartoonish robot with very annoying voice - no need to go on. A real downer. Unless you like getting frustrated with junk piles that make no sense, and are hard to decipher, don't bother with this one.
This game is visually breathtaking, intelectually challenging (but not too much), and storywise is really fun. If you like fantasy, but not too dark, good vs. evil, but not scary, and fun characters, then this game is for you!
The HO scenes are the usual junk piles, yet fitting to the scene. The puzzles are challenging, but not too hard; familiar but not boring.
Added fun is the hunt for miniatures to collect, and there are achievements that pop up when you least expect them. I like the display area, too.
Narration comes as you reach the part of them game where it fits - like reading a book.
I love it!
I recommend this game!

Can't find a forum for this one yet, so I will just review what I can. I played the demo for about 10 minutes and can give a capsule review. This is a pretty simple hidden object, and harks back to older games. Part of the appeal, at least for me, is the tie-in to the TV show. I have to admit if it wasn't one of my favorites I might ignore this game.
The graphics are very clean, the HO scenes fairly easy, but have a twist. Some of the object names are scrambled and you have to figure out what they are before you can find them. I found it fairly easy. There are no voice overs, but quite a bit of dialog to read. The tutorial was the usual, and for experienced players can be annoying.
Knowing me I will buy this one, but for non fans of the show, it might be a disappointment.
I enjoy vampire themed games and hidden objects, so was excited to play this one. Alas, the first half of the game was not bad, but seemed to become another game halfway through. The graphics were great, clear and easy to find objects (if you really look). I was disappointed with the storyline.
If you enjoy games for the sake of playing - enjoy - if you like your stories to be cohesive and tied-up, then you may not like this one.
As a daily deal this wouldn't be bad, but at full price I wouldn't reccommend it. Do check out the forums for a feel of what to expect.
I liked this one as well, or better, than the first. The ending was much more satisfiying. Good graphics, nice sound, good voices - a real winner! And much longer than I had expected, too!
This one started out slow but like any good mystery built to a good ending. (Or did it?) I really enjoyed the storyiine as well as the graphics and music. The puzzles varied from too easy to kind of hard, just right for me. There might be some trouble viewing some of the scenes, especially the reddish tinted ones, for older eyes, but with patience it works. As a ripper fan I figured out the killer right off, but was still kept wondering by all the "red herrings" thrown at us - there are many theories out there. I heartily reccmmend this one!
