You really need to use a lot of strategy in this one if you want get the red flags. In fact, I would recommend that, if you buy it, you don't worry about that on first play. The time allowed is tight and you need to work out what resources to gather and which route is quickest.
The numbers are clear and easy to see. There's two levels of difficulty and the grids are a challenge but not so much that you get fed up with restarting.
TBF, this is not my favourite series and I do find pure HO games a little boring.
The graphics are clear so the objects are fairly easy to find. But you will spend a long time without clicking cos there's a lot of objects in the scene but only a few in each list. So there's a lot of squinting and staring.
The minigames are very easy on the Easy setting.
So I guess if you like this series you will get on with this. If not, or if it's your first time with it, try it first and see what you think.
It's basically just a resource gather. If you've played Roads of Rome then you've played this. Yes, there are a few things added, like puzzle pieces and pop-up tasks but nothing worth spending £10 on.
It's very pretty but it takes a while to load. It's nice if you love this genre but for me... I got bored after 5 levels.
This game is ok. It's much like the first one. No really important changes.
Which is a shame as it could be so much better. If players were allowed to decide where the furniture went and if there was a way of panning around the room, it would help. And the decorations are pretty bland and meh as well. Being able to change the colour of the choices would be good.
The M3 part is pretty easy for the whole demo. How much harder the levels get I don't know as I don't think this game has enough play in it to spend money on.
It's quite a lot like My Brother Rabbit. So if you loved that, you'll love this. A lot of original puzzles and gorgeous graphics. I've played two hours and got stuck so I'll go back to it tomorrow. The only problem I've found is that the hint button will sometimes light up even though you aren't in the right area for the hint to work. But that might just be me. Otherwise it's a really good game but it's not your average puzzler. Try it before you buy it.
I lasted 10 mins of the demo because of that stupid annoying constantly bouncing arrow. It's utterly unnecessary because there is a map. I don't need that arrow to tell me where the door is.
And I'm annoyed about it cos this is my kind of game. I would have spent actual money on this. But until devs start treating me like I have a bigger IQ than a watermelon, they can whistle for my money.
