Although it grabs your attention at the beginning, I found it became a bit boring and predictable as the game progressed. I thought the story line was pretty weak and the CE way too short! Graphics and scenery where beautiful and very well done but I would recommend waiting for the standard version.
First of all, I bought the original 2 game series of Syberia and loved them, couldn't get enough of them! I am a casual game player so it took me days to finish and a bit of of strategy guide consulting. It was like reading a good book that is hard to put down with surprises and twists to tweak your interest. The art work is excellent and the mini games ingenious. This is a definite 5 star game and if you want to get the whole story, get Syberia before you play Syberia 2.

Aside from the obvious dark and sinister aspects of the game, the whole experience was fun and often surprising. Although there were seemingly endless meanderings into new areas to be descovered, it was not monotonous returning to places I had been because there would be something new and unpredictable to do or find. Keeping in mind that the location is a huge manor and all the scenes are connected to the grounds and floors of the house, it wasn't confusing or difficult to work your way through each one and work your way back when necessary. I really enjoyed the game and appreciated the fact that the length of the adventure made it well worth the price!

This game was perfect fun and challenge! I enjoyed looking for the hidden objects without having to read a list of names, the story line was very good, and the extra bonus in the CE was great.. I loved everything about the game and the challenge was just right for me.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

The main pro factor in buying the CE was my need to constantly check the strategy guide. That was due to the fact of my losing interest in the game for several days and when returning, having to re-acquaint myself with the story line. I have enjoyed all large file MCF games but found that this one fell way short of the suspenseful Dire Grove. To sum it up, I found this game to be a great disappointment and a waste of $.
I found this game somewhat predictable and not near as challenging and exciting as its predecessor, Green Hills Asylum. Still, many will find it interesting enough to buy.

A fun puzzle solver with picture clues without the endless list of names for the hidden objects. I love the progressive quaint story line.. I have played the game 5 or 6 times and never get tired of it!
