I'm not sure why people are saying there is no Relaxed mode - there is, I've been playing relaxed mode from the start, all you have to do is check the little "Relaxed" box that appears on the screen. Having said that, it's definitely not up to the standard of the other Imperial Island series, quite childish icons, takes time loading each level and you often have to click buttons twice to make anything happen. I will finish the trial but won't be buying this one.
This is a fabulous game, perhaps slightly better than the first one. I admit I struggled with one of the shape moving challenges, but got there in the end and finished the game. Once you start playing it's really hard to stop - you just want to keep playing one more level lol. A thoroughly enjoyable game. Please hurry with 4 Elements 3.
I just loved this game from beginning to end. There is enough of a challenge to keep you interested without being so hard that it's impossible to complete the game. I also own 4 Elements 2 which is every bit as good. Can't wait for episode 3.
Didn't work too well on my PC, but the main two problems for me were the tiny tiles that all looked the same (may be better for others who have good eyesight) and the lack of a relaxed playing mode which I hate in any game. Playing with limited moves or against a timer is not something I enjoy, I play these games for relaxation and never buy a game with no relaxed mode. To be fair, I think it could be a pleasant game if they increased the tile sizes and added a relaxed mode.
Having thoroughly enjoyed the other Spellariums, I was excited to see this one released. I played the free trial a week ago, couldn't figure it out so uninstalled it and decided to give it another go today. Still the same huge disappointment - there is no guide or explanation as to what you're supposed to do, it kept telling me to drag the water drop to the vessel, but no arrows or suggestions how to do it. Just small areas kept lighting up, I had no idea what I was supposed to do at all. Never seen a game like this before with absolutely no guide as to the object of the game. Got fed with just matching and activating bombs randomly without understanding what I was doing or why.
Since his departure from Olympus, Angelo has overcome many trials and enemies. However, he is about to face his greatest challenge yet, as threats assault the kingdom of Greece from all sides.
Having played halfway through the demo I've decided to remove the game. Very disappointed because what promised to be a really good Match 3 game was ruined for me due to the headache inducing tiles. When will game manufacturers learn that we don't all have great eyesight and games such as this one, where all the tiles appear small and identical is just not going to work. Either make the boards bigger or design the tiles so we can actually tell the difference between them without getting a migraine.

I love Match 3 games but this is not my idea of a Match 3 game, it's boring and doesn't even give the option of playing untimed. The graphics seem very old fashioned too, I didn't even bother finishing the one hour demo which is unusual for me. I really can't see this game appealing to anyone, except perhaps very young kids.

The only reason I am not giving this game 5 stars is because after so many levels the whole game becomes jammed and I can't play any further. Very annoying as I absolutely love the game, it's challenging without being so hard that I can't continue. I considered buying the Collector's Edition in the hope that the freezing problem won't be on that one but I can't tell from the one hour demo and I don't feel like buying another game that only lets me play half the levels.
This is definitely not for those looking for a challenging game, but if you just want something to sit down and unwind with, you could do a lot worse. The biggest negative, as someone else mentioned, is the fact that all the tiles light up when covered by the cursor, so it's hard to see which tiles you need to clear to complete the level. I've only played the demo so it will probably get harder if I decide to buy it, but I've had no trouble winning the games so far. I think younger players would love it. It's one of those "Shall I buy it or not?" games. I'm recommending it for the relaxation factor - a good standby game to have to come back to when you get frustrated with other, harder games.
I went through most of the options on the demo but didn't buy the game because my eyesight just isn't up to reading the tiny numbers on the tiles. It looked like a good game with lots of different games to choose from, so I was disappointed. I've bought several other MJ games and all of them are much easier on the eyes than this one.
