First off I should say that I haven't finished the game, I've only completed the first two chapters/books and I don't know when I'll be bothered to finish the rest of it. I don't know what has changed since the first two crossroads games came out but this sequel just didn't meet my expectations because of it, the game is less creepy and seems like its been dulled down and made easier also I don't know why the developers recast Mistress Eve but that was a bad move, the new voice actress is really slow with her dialog and pauses a lot for some reason, this isn't really a big issue just a slight annoyance that can be ignored. The 'warning for psychological horror' is completely unwarranted, there's a bit of blood stains but not much else. In my honest opinion this game is a tad boring, it's the first time I've stopped playing a game without finishing and not been dying to get back at it, I just hope the developers revert back to whatever they were doing before making this game.
I recommend this game!

I love the Detectives United games so when this game came out I quickly bought it, however I don't think this game is of the same quality as the previous ones, first the entire game felt rushed (it only took me 3.5 hours to complete the main game + bonus) and didn't explain things fully along the lines of the investigation, it wasn't clear on why the characters went to places they did or came to the conclusions they did, and there was some dialog errors too, but the thing that bugged me the most was the motive of the bad guy wasn't explained at all, you never find out who/what she is and what her backstory is. Most of the puzzles are easy as are the Hidden object scenes, the collectibles are easy to find and only occur in close up scenes. Overall it's an ok games but I wouldn't waste money on the collector's edition, if you want to play this game I would wait till the standard edition comes out and use a free game voucher if you have one.
I recommend this game!

This game is ok, not very long but still somewhat entertaining even though i got bored towards the end and guessed who the bad guy was going to be at the start of the game, the scenery was very nice and the game play was smooth but there seems to be a few inconsistencies between this game and the first game, in the first game it's hinted that the press nicknamed the main character 'Ms Holmes' because she was smart and had the same detective skills as Sherlock but in this game she's now the granddaughter of Sherlock Holmes, which was a bit strange at first, the only other thing that annoyed me was Oscar Watson the grandson of John Watson, he seemed to be a useless character that talked really slow and who's only purpose was to give a sense of urgency when he gets poisoned.
I recommend this game!

I love the League Of Light games, so much that i purchased this game without playing the demo and that was a mistake, it isn't at all like the other League of light games, your character doesn't get a voice and your scarecrow helper has disappeared, the game starts like the others you get an assignment from your boss, you travel to the city go into a tower and that's it, you only leave the tower to explore the city and defeat monster plants in the form of Ho scenes before going back to the tower, this would be the perfect game for people who like nothing but Ho scenes i unfortunately do not like them and there are so many and a lot of back and forth that i lost the will and had to stop playing half way through. The Ho scenes themselves have hidden Owls that you have to find in addition to the actual list of items and you need to look very carefully because some items are tiny, (i had to use the hint button a few times which i don't like doing) I was looking forward to a new League Of Light game for so long and it just disappointing me immensely which is sad considering how good the last game was, in the future i will definitely play the demo before buying and hopefully the game developers will go back to the original game play and not another one like this. Wasted Money and time.
I don't recommend this game.

I found this game enjoyable and the scenery is beautiful however there was a few points i wasn't keen on like the collectables, i thought they were a bit hard to spot because they morph rather quick and if you miss any you can't go back and collect them and i found the game a bit predictable as i guessed the twist almost immediately, the game seemed to be over really quick too. the bonus game isn't really necessary (as the main game finishes nicely with no cliffhanger) but it's a good follow on, i only buy collectors editions for the bonus games and not the extras so if you're like me then i would wait for the standard edition to come out. But this is a nice little casual game suitable for beginner/intermediate level.
I recommend this game!

When i played the beta version i enjoyed it, and i love most of the other Spirits Of Mystery games that i had to buy this one, but it just seemed like there was something missing and i'll admit i lost interest a few times and paused the game to do something else more than once, there wasn't really a bad guy to defeat (don't want to spoil the game so won't say more on that) and some of the puzzles were way too easy (you didn't even get a penalty for clicking too many times) the game seemed really short to, it was like 'do this, do that, make a potion and the end' there was some spelling mistakes, the appearance of the nanny didn't make sense (she looked like a mummy, why?) and like the last two games this is nothing like the original Spirits Of Mystery that i love, all in all if you want a short, easy, casual game with match three puzzles and almost no challenge then buy this game, but please wait until there's a sale on. I recommend this game for beginners anyone else will get bored.
