Note: I don't care much about the visual and I play with the sound off because most games have such bad/boring sounds that they just irritate me. So I am not a good person to judge on these merits.
Great game. I have over 75 BFG plus many from other companies. This is one of the best. You have to get past the first five/six islands then you get into the game at its best.
It runs faster and gets the projects done faster which means not boring, later in the game. Say after the first six islands.
Love this game! But be sure to get the Totem Tribe Gold edition.
It is so hard to find a really good PC game to play. I look under Strategy, Time Management, Action and they have the doggone HOGS listed in with them so I waste so much time weeding them out! (I am 81 years old so have LOTS of time to play games. Always looking for good ones. Most are sooooo boring!!!!)
And I really dislike those that are so hard to complete that it is almost impossible to even get one gold star much less three. Most games I get three for each level.....eventually.

fun game. sometimes too challenging which spoils the fun. many times I went to Utube for walkthroughs and it still didn't get me a finish on time!
I found the way the levels are represented quite confusing. 1) which are main game levels, 2) which are bonuses, and 3) ??? a new name and it starts at a level 1 and it might have 3 levels or it might have 40..no info!

I am now looking for an image of all the runes so that I can put the descriptions, plus the levels they are first found in, plus the picture, all together.

Kept me interested for all of six hours. Finished it and started again. But not the level of curiosity or challenge that comes with say a Totem Tribe Gold (not the original Totem Tribe - there is another one called Totem Tribe Gold which has the basic one with many additional features). That still ranks tops on my list.
Loved the V V games when they came out, They eventually get tiresome waiting for the tasks to complete as the newer games complete tasks much faster.
As did My Tribe.
I found the pirate battles and the final puzzle the most fun.
I certainly would recommend this game as it really is fun. You can email me if you get stuck.
