If you like the "free to play" cooking games, but become so frustrated when they get too hard to play without paying, then this game is for you! On Easy mode, it challenged my old hands, but I was able to get through the levels. Beautiful food art and no dragging. I really enjoyed playing this, however, it stated in the "Extras for Collector's Edition" That there was a Farm with 60 levels, which I did not find. There are 3 separate 60 level restaurants...but no farm. The story line is fine, but, not really part of the game play. I really do like this game! It is kind of a dream come true for those of us who like this kind of game but could never get past a certain point. I also love that you get to decorate the different restaurants!
I loved the first Farming Fever, and although it was challenging, and you might have to replay some levels in order to buy upgrades to get through new levels, at least it was doable. This one, on easy, is absolutely insanely difficult, if not impossible! You can have all the upgrades and still not get through a level!!! I think they may have forgotten what "EASY" is supposed to mean! I recommend the first one, but this one is insane.

Fun little game! But has some things that need to be fixed. At least 2 of the power ups in the store, when purchased don't give you that power up but one of the others. You can go back and try again on one of the events but even if you do better, it is not recorded so there is no way to win the event if you don't nail it the first time. But, aside from these things and almost no help, it really is a fun addictive game! I bought it and like it! I would love it if they fix it!
If you like the "old" Delicious series, you will love this!! The story line got me hooked right away!! I really cannot wait for the next one! I'm not super fast, so I was really happy that this has an Easy mode! We also finally get to find something other than the mouse!! This time it's a cute little raccoon! I stopped liking the newer versions that had all these extra actions and luckily this one doesn't have them! This is just an excellent game!!!
I did buy this just because of the things you can buy and the many different things to do. And mostly because you don't have to click your head off and do it as fast as you can! I'm not very good at the games that depend on speed, so I usually go for the ones that have a relaxed mode. This seems to be only relaxed, however, you can go as fast as you like. Lots of upgrades and different things to buy and do. So if you would like something that won't upset you, this may be for you. One thing that might be challenging is that you have quests and things to buy and many choices, so you have to decide what to spend your money on. I am enjoying it! It does actually make you think, but so far, it seems that it is mostly your decision what you upgrade or buy! I like it!
I haven't been engrossed in a game this much since the first two Tomb Raiders! The story pulls you in and you feel like you are actually in an action/ adventure movie! This will appeal to the adventure gamers out there. The HOS are fairly few and far between and the puzzles are fun but not completely undoable...although I did have to skip one, a huge slider picture puzzle (I am so bad at them) but like one other poster said, you are on a wonderful completely engrossing journey and if you only played the demo, or as some...only a few minutes of the demo, then you missed out big time! the bonus comes in the middle of the game and then you finish the rest...Long, great game...leaves you wanting more and more. For those who want to wait for the SE, I think it will be fine, but I absolutely recommend getting the CE. I haven't enjoyed a game for it's immersive storyline in a long time but this one is fantastic! I really recommend this for adventure lovers and people who like to play these games on expert or hard core mode, people who like to figure out the game on their own. Others have layed out the game features very well so I won't go into that, just giving my thumbs up on an excellently done game!!!
I have had a love/hate relationship with all of the Jewel Quests, in fact I almost didn't even download the trial because I was so disenchanted with the series. The things I had against them were, couldn't move another jewel until all jewels had fallen, and I had a terrible time finishing within the time allotted. This new game allows fast matching( can match while other jewels are falling) AND it has a relaxed mode (no time) and a normal and an advanced mode. When I saw these upgrades, I bought immediately! I am enjoying the story, which is very well done imo. And I like the companions that you can pick which have different abilities which go up in .... helpfulness? Anyway, if you've tried other Jewel Quests (other than the Hidden Object types) and found them frustratingly difficult, this is probably the one for you!
