I think I would have liked this game but it has collectables, morphing objects and puzzle pieces. It doesn't give you any way on a map or otherwise to track within the scenes if you've collected them. I am tired of games where I have to try and remember if I found everything in that scene so I refused to play it any further. It looks like it would have been a good game too so I am recommending.
I know I'm reviewing this after the game has been out for a while, but if you haven't played it I highly recommend. The story line is fantastic and actually makes sense including the bonus chapter. The puzzles are a cut above what I have seen lately. Highly recommend this game! As a side note I have several of the Lost Lands games and have enjoyed them all.
The story line was excellent and had more HOS then hidden object games have had lately. I really enjoyed them and liked the fact the the morphing objects were separate. Also liked the fact you had an easy menu option on the side to see if you collected all the morphing and domino objects. The puzzles were unique and challenging enough to make them fun. I completed the regular game and going to play the extras game. One of the best games I've played lately. Can't wait for the 2nd one!
I played the beta version so was glad when it became available. I've played the game several times including the bonus game and really enjoyed the puzzles and storyline. Also the souvenir collection in the extras option was different. Great addition to the series! Really enjoy most Eipix games.
I played the entire game and the bonus game and all extras. Really enjoyed the storyline, including the bonus game (made sense, not an after thought like many). Great visuals from Eipix as usual. The puzzles were fun and some were more thought provoking (but not too hard) and there seem to be more HOS in this one and I enjoy them. I really like this series and always learn something from the fact cards.
I haven't finished the game; I am more than half way through, normally I wait until I do before writing a review. I bought this game without even finishing the demo which is rare. I think the game has great graphics and enjoying the game so far. It has a different twist on some of challenges. I do have to admit I liked the last one better (Deck of Fates) but I still recommend this game. Not sure why others were so negative.
Enjoyed this game of the series. It's fun and like the Jules Verne addition to the storyline. The Oz characters are okay and there was just enough of them in the game to not become annoying. I am getting ready to play the game again. I thought puzzles were interesting and had some different spins. I really liked the intro that went through the past games, I had played all of them.
Great game and addition to this fun series. The storyline is great including the graphics and sound. I like the various achievements you can earn and the puzzles are different and fun. I've seen some of these puzzle variations in other Eipix games but they seem to find a new twist. I also played the extras game and was entertaining. If you follow this series you will see telltale signs in the background of past games and that makes it even more fun, but if this is your first time playing a game in this series you do not have to have played previous games to enjoy it. Highly recommend this game; it's not only fun but with the fact cards you learn something as you do in all Hidden Expeditions (HE) games.

I have several from this series and personally enjoyed and played the others multiple times. I did play the regular game twice and bonus once. I liked the story line and the level of challenge was easy. Sometimes you need a game you can have a glass of wine and still play...with that said the puzzles are very basic. Nothing overly creative, enjoyed the last one in this series more. As noted I still recommend this game but do have some observations below. 1. Some areas kept sparkling after completed to display a note. Was frustrating. Maybe just collect the note cards? 2. I couldn't find on the map or within the game a way to tell if I've found the umbrella for that location or all the puzzle pieces. I also couldn't find what I gained by collecting the puzzle pieces. 3. There is no incentive to replay HOS as there is no additional badge earned. 4. Found the achievements hard to read. You had to hover and click to display what the achievement was for. Would have preferred some kind of list or displayed without additional steps.
Really enjoyed MadHead games lately. The game was really fun and the storyline was different. I've played it several times including the bonus game. Liked going to different planets and the characters/aliens including the portals. The dialog could be a bit hokey at times but still enjoyed the game overall. Level of challenge was good but I enjoyed it wasn't too hard so you can still be challenged but yet relaxing.
