This was a fairly good game with excellent graphics. It was somewhat tedious in parts, what with the word games that sometimes went on and on.
Otherwise it was a quality game and I recommend it to all.

This games had all the earmarks of a fantastic journey into the deepest, darkest corners of the mind. And it delivered.
There were just two things about the game I didn't like:
1.) The use of real-life characters, which took away the "storybook" element, and
2.) The extremely abrupt ending, which disappointed me a bit. There was no "final conflict" with the evil one, and you had to wonder about the rest of the people who were trapped in the house.
How many escaped? Who knows.
I recommend this game!

This was a very exciting and foreboding Sherlock Holmes outing. Holmes and Watson travel from England to Switzerland to the New Orleans swamps, replete with man-eating alligators, and to Scotland, to solve this "otherworld" thriller, which ends up in a lighthouse full of "the undead."
The puzzles were devilishly difficult at times, while the graphics, sound, and ambience were all excellent.
My only complaint was that the navigation was quite clumsy throughout much of the game.
I recommend this game only to those who are willing to use their heads, and who have a lot of patience, as there is copious, but needed, dialogue, notes, and reports.
I recommend this game!

Catela Games has given us a "decent," if not "great," adventure game, with average graphics, and excellent cut-scenes, but with NO voice-overs. Too bad. The voices could have made the game much more interesting.
The music is done fairly well, and the game had a good sci-fi storyline.
Yet, the game was too easy, with a paucity of puzzles, which proved to be quite easy.
There was really A LOT of dialogue, which could have been trimmed down, but, all in all, the game proved to be interesting enough to play all the way to the very abrupt ending.
I recommend this game!

This was a gripping game that, with intra-personal dialogue added, could easily become another Nancy Drew-type series!
I congratulate Artifex Mundi for a wonderful effort that brought us clear HOS, good graphics and sound and a decent story.
If I were the developer, I would get rid of the HINT BUTTON and make the player think everything out for himself. And, if the player REALLY GETS STUCK, then he can consult a walkthrough.
The same thing would apply to the many very interesting puzzles that appeared throughout the game. KILL the SKIP BUTTON and make the player work out everything on his/her own. I think that would really make things much more interesting!
Again, congratulations on bringing us a very good game!
I recommend this game!

This highly unusual game was truly fascinating and held my interest from the very onset.
I found myself wondering: "where do i go next? What am I supposed to do?"
The object of the game was to find the necessary code that would take you to the next chapter of the game. there were roughly five chapters.
there were also many puzzles of varying difficulties, which always involved pictures, as Aaron Crane's journey was wrapped up in his father's pictures.
and so, one good thing led to the next, and i must say, I had a ball! This was no hidden object game, although you needed to find various objects necessary to continue on with the adventure.
Everything was great: graphics, music, sound, and so on.
Go buy this game! You won't be sorry!
Thanks, BIG FISH GAMES!
I recommend this game!

Although i really liked playing Syberia once again, I certainly did not expect a rerun of Syberia II.
It's just too bad that the wondrous adventure could not have continued in Syberia with the mammoths, the beautiful greenery, the rolling land, etc.
This "Syberia 3" should never have been issued. It added nothing to the great Syberia saga, and got the hopes of all lovers of Syberia all worked up for nothing.
I am greatly disappointed that I, and many other gamers were so terribly let down.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is not for the young or the faint of heart, as it deals with adult subject matter.
The case of Jack the Ripper was never solved -- or -- was it?
Sherlock Holmes, at the very height of his deductive powers is on the trail of the famous killer, Jack the Ripper. The game is one big chase, and a very engrossing one, at that!
The gameplay is smooth, especially in third person perspective, the graphics are just fine, and the music -- all classical violin -- is beautiful.
Some of the puzzles are treacherous -- especially the random ones. Trying to create the "correct" ellipsis around some murder scenes almost drove me insane, but I finally nailed it! Here is where no walkthrough will help you.
All in all, the game was highly interesting and exciting and I recommend it to those who are not afraid of brutality and a bit of gore.
I recommend this game!

After playing such a cerebral game, I think I may be experiencing some brain swelling!
Indeed, this Sherlock Holmes game throws everything at you, and then some! Fortunately, a built in guide helps the player every step of the long and tortuous way, and the dialogue also sheds much light on the infamous Arsene Lupin's next nefarious move.
I found this game easier to navigate than "Jack the Ripper," and found it much easier to play in third-person-mode.
The characters were all delightful, as was the music, which featured some violin chamber works and even some Tchaikovsky!
The graphics and voices were perfectly done, and I applaud FROGWARES for its tremendous work!
If you want mystery, suspense and intrigue, then buy this game.
I'll put it a few notches below SYBERIA, THE TREE OF LIFE, THE DREW SERIES and PARADISE, if only because it is so very cerebral and mentally draining. Nancy Drew doesn't have anything on Sherlock Holmes when it comes to difficulty!
I recommend this game!

This game was riveting from beginning to end, and, even if you're NOT a lover of Antiquities and Egyptology, you'll love this game, nevertheless.
Gojii Games used its HOS sparingly, and they didn't take long to figure out. I really liked that. Other developers could learn a lot from Gojii Games by examining their hidden object areas.
As for the game, itself, it finds a husband and wife, kids and cat, taking a tour of Egyptian Antiquities only to get trapped inside the pyramid and burial place of a lost King of Egypt.
They get split up and must find each other by going through secret passageways, breaking down and blowing up walls, and solving many, many fascinating puzzles.
I could go on and on, but I must say that this game is a "must buy!"
Great graphics and music. Good voice-overs, and an excellent storyline all decorate this exciting game.
I loved it!
I recommend this game!
