This game is a fun twist on Alice in Wonderland. The puzzles are challenging, the graphics are quite nice and the story line, while a bit predictable, is not your typical Alice story. I quite enjoyed the game and wished that it would have lasted longer. Sequel?? Please :)

Just when yu start getting into the story, it's all over. The entire game was like the free preview of a normal CE quality game. They have great art, and the start of a decent story. To bad that it was not completed. Don't spend your $$ on the CE. It might be worth a free game token for the regular edition ... but then again, maybe not

I thought that this would be a challenging, interesting game, but it ended up being boring, disjointed and trite. The plot was the same old "something evil is going to destroy the world and only you can save it by going to an alternate reality with portals". The graphics are good in places, poor in others. The puzzles are pretty basic, but the worst part is the story line. It is fragmented and pretty senseless. Also, the player is continually being warped to new areas with no access to the old ones. This makes the entire game lack continuity. I would not recommend spending any $$ on this game until you play the demo and see if it suits your tastes
This was a very enjoyable game. It introduced several new puzzle type and the level of challenge was very good. Some of the HO scenes were a little dark, but otherwise the graphics were very good. Interesting story line. All in all, I really liked this game and will be checking out the other game in the series.
So far below the quality of the first Surface stories

A game with a sophomoric story line and simplistic puzzles is not redeemed by pretty graphics and cool music. The game just started to get good when it ended.
Why is it that the sequels, prequels and such get worse and worse the further from the original that they get. I was very disappointed in this game. It's good thing that it was on sale for 60% off. I will certainly not buy the next Surface game without trying first

The free demo for the game is quite compelling, leading the player to expect that the rest of the game will be even better, but, alas, like many movie trailers, they saved the best for first and it only goes downhill from there. While the graphics and sound were lovely, the story line was juvenile and boring. The puzzles were neither inventive nor challenging, although some of the HO scenes were well done. All in all, this is a big thumbs down for me. I haven't tried to bonus content yet, but I just don't expect that it will redeem the rest of the game's failures

I really enjoyed playnig this game. The pace was great even though the story was not the most exciting. Clever puzzles and excellent HO scenes really made this game. Graphics are beautiful. Easy navigation with map and lots of goodies to collect - birds, morphing objects and horoscope pieces. All in all, I recommend and will probably play again just to get the last few achievements.

Sluggish game play, poor graphics, juvenille story line and no real point kind of ruined this game. I used a free game coupon to buy this game and it really wasn't worth it. My only receommendation for this game is that the developers pull it off the market and rework the whole thing to exploit the potential for fun.

Given the graphics in the promo, I was hoping for a more upbeat, light hearted game. However, it is just another cursed painter stealing girls souls to cheat death saga. Very long and drawn out. Too many scenes that are not connected to each other. Too many objects to collect. It is worth your life to remember where you are supposed to use the myriad of objects collected in inventory and even if you do remember, too many of the scenes look like each other, All in all, I found this game to be repetitive, predictable and boring. I would like to make a plea to all the game writers out there .. Enough of the cursed and horrific. How about some more humor and clever story lines ?? Please, please, please.

It's so nice to see a game that has some humor and a light story line after all the horror and monsters that inhabit most games these days. Puzzles are challenging. Story line is great. Graphics and sound are excellent. I just wish it had lasted one frog longer. Great game :)
