Really like the butler, Austin, and love the doggy :) Also like that we get to name the dog - I'm easy to please I guess ;# although my husband might not agree LOL!
Skill level starts out really easy, but I am finding it more difficult to find things the more I play. It could be my old eyes, or that I play too late at night #which Austin has mentioned, OMGosh!) so I'm too tired, but the chocolates are really throwing me for a loop!
I am not done with the game or garden; I just built the bridge, so have a way to go yet, but I do wish there were more options than just 3 for each item we choose, but as someone else said, we can't have it all can we?!
All in all, I am thoroughly enjoying this game, and as someone else said in their review, don't play close to bedtime cuz I just cannot stop playing! For some odd reason, I find myself wanting to please Austin and I'm really hoping we win :) Play the game to see what I mean :)
As I say in almost all my reviews, it never hurts to try the demo cuz you never know when you're gonna find that new game you LOVE!!!

I agree about the dressing up part, cuz I would have chosen some much nicer outfits than were in the game, but I HAD to have this game :) My biggest COMPLIMENT about the game? The variety of match-3's!!! (If I remember correctly, there were like 4 different kinds: chain thingy, regular, & click on one for the whole section are the only ones I remember right now.#
I finished the game over a long period of time, but am getting ready to start a new game because I really like the match 3 parts. Give me variety any day :) I thought the storyline was cute and I liked the helpful "powerups" - simpler than some other games.
I also love the Fishdom games #except for the original, but they really did improve over that one) and hope they incorporate some of that into a new dress up match 3 game!
Never hurts to try the demo, eh? You may love it :)

I did enjoy the game, for the most part, and the visuals and music were very well done, not at all annoying. I usually turn down music in all my games.
I think "solitaire" is misleading, as this game is only about matching pairs, in the one hour demo that I played. It was fun for the hour, but I am not going to buy it, nor would I even use a free game coupon on it. I'm into more solitaire, especially when there is a variety.
Having said that, you must try the demo cuz you may really like this game; check out all the positive reviews above!! I did not pay any attention to the story due to time issues #demo mode, don't you know?# so no clue about storyline.

In my one hour demo, all I saw was golf solitaire, one of my least favorite solitaire games. Visuals and music were pretty and gentle, and not at all annoying (I usually turn off music but not in the Heartwild games).
However, I will not buy this particular game because all I saw was golf solitaire. The first Heartwild game, in my demo, all I had was matching pairs, which was fun for an hour but doesn't compel me to buy it either.
Never hurts to try the demo to see if you'll like the game :) Since I was just seeing about the solitaire games, I did NOT pay any attention to the storyline, so no clue about it.
I don't recommend this game.

After the initial hour was up, they begged me for this game, just like all the others. They never play it anymore, so I hopped on tonight for the first time.
Ohmigosh, I do NOT like this game!! First of all, I did not know it was a time management game, and I do NOT like time management games. I stink at them, have for years, so....
Not knowing what kind of game this was, I chose normal, and if I ever try this game again, I will choose the special kiddie mode, cuz I will need it, trust me. However, I truly think the visuals and sounds were just - UGH! Very poorly done and in no way makes me want to go back to replay on any level.
I bought, played, and thoroughly enjoyed Dress Up Pups, a match 3 game with different kinds of matching in it, and I was disappointed when the game was finished. I know that is a different "genre" but everything about that game is much better than this one!!
Thank Goodness for the 1 hour demos; all you can do is try it to see if you may enjoy this game. Plenty of people probably do... Variety is the spice of life after all :)
I don't recommend this game.

Kind of difficult to review this game because it's more "cartoonish" (which makes it cute# than most other HO games I've played. I guess I really like that it's a different genre, not the same old eerie, spooky, dark atmosphere kind of thing. I get so tired of the same old, same old.
I do think the game is too short; some of you may finish on the demo! I chose casual mode as I hate timed games usually. Found some of the objects to be hidden QUITE WELL; in fact, I had to use hints quite often, I'm ashamed to admit ;)
While the game is cute, I thought they could have made Lacey, the main reporter, a little better, different somehow. Maybe the poses were what threw me off, I don't know. I DID enjoy earning money to buy new clothes :) I am female though ;)
I liked that I didn't really have to think much to play the game. I wasn't required to try to decipher whodunnit, so I admit to being surprised by the ending -and kind of annoyed that it was over already. I enjoyed the game a lot, but I don't know if I'll play it again. I MAY try timed mode, but we'll see.
Truly, you KNOW you have to play the demo of ANY game you think you may enjoy. Luckily we get an hour to see if it's up our alley or not!!

After buying this game a long time ago, I couldn't finish it and I could not discover any hints online as to what I was doing wrong! So I stopped playing. Then we got a new computer, and I decided to install all my Big Fish games again.
This time, I managed to finish almost every individual solitaire game with gold status, and I discovered THAT is the key!!! So I have now completed the whole game :#
I enjoy all the different types of solitaire games in this one game, and am thankful for the instructions and demos included. Once the entire game is completed, we can go back and play any prior game by itself #can do each individual game once it is done being played too but I had to finish ALL the games!!).
I recommend this game if you LOVE all types of solitaire :) If I'm going to spend my time on the computer, I want variety!!
