After seven years away, my daughter and I are AMAZED at how wonderful these types of games have advanced! One of our very first HO games was Hidden Expedition Titanic and it's quite thrilling to see the level of immersion you have now - like using your fists to defend yourself PLUS actually being able to use a sword (in a manner of speaking that is)! SO FUN!
Was glad to see that while it still had an air of mystery and magic, it did not lose it's sense of reality. The storyline draws you in from the first time you play it and keeps you there till the end. We didn't purchase the CE of this game but now wish we had! (especially if it had an extended ending... sure would like to know more!)

This was our 'First Time' doing a time management/building a small town kind of thing and it was THRILLING!! Just played through the demo and looking forward to playing through the rest!
My daughter in peculiar greatly enjoyed the fact that we had to think about which buildings to put up first in order to make things go by the quickest, so to her, it was a bit of a 'puzzle' as well!
As for the storyline, it was well done for what it is, but I'd like to see the same type of game with maybe a medieval theme, or maybe even a mystery! ( I'd have to look around and see if there is already one.) But over all, we liked it very much and definitely recommend it!
My daughter and I just tried it out because we like combat and pirate themes, but just after the first encounter with the ghosts, the pirate started cussing! For a game that looks like it would be fun for children and people of all ages, it was inappropriate to use such language in my opinion and I certainly do not want my daughter to play it!!
I hope someone comes out with the same 'TYPE' of idea, but with NO CUSSING, slightly better graphics, and this one was a little hard to get past the first learning curve... it didn't quite make sense.
