I finished playing it but had to force myself. I have truly loved the series and was so excited to see a new game. The visual quality was as outstanding as the others. Wonderful story and I love the realm the series takes place in. However, the game was boring. The puzzles were too easy and some of the quests were also too easy. It lacked the adventure I felt playing the other games in the series. There is a map but I am unsure what it is for other than a map. There was no interactive use for it. I do like that they divide the game into chapters so you hit a level of completion and move on. The pirate was a definite Johnny Depp take off and was done poorly. If you are a beginning player I would recommend this game.
There were some very interesting puzzles in this game. Some reminded me of the puzzles in Ravenhurst. The graphics were great, level of challenge was good. There were many HO scenes. They were small and intricate. The visual quality of the game was good so you could find the objects. I thought the game was a little short. That is my only complaint, otherwise a very good game.
I really enjoyed this game. I never mark down for story unless it is really stupid. I am not a fan of witches and evil but this one was not as dark as most. The visual quality of the game was great. The level of challenge was good. I like them a little harder but this was good entertainment. The game was really long. The puzzles were good and there were not as many hidden object scenes. When there was a HO scene it was easy and there was some interaction with it. The hint button was very good. There was a lot going on in the game and after leaving it to come back and play I could not always remember where everything was so the hint button came in handy to direct me until I got my bearings again
I truly loved this game. It is a sleeper so don't pass it up. It is more of an adventure game than HO. I like the adventure better so this was good for me. It has a map which lets to travel from one spot to another. The puzzles were not difficult and had some variety from the usual. The graphics were great. I play with the sound off so I don't know about the music. I great game with a good amount of challenge.
I truly enjoyed the light hearted nature of the game and the comic relief. A breath of fresh air from the usual dark and evil storyline. Great challenge, great graphics and many laughs
Comical and light hearted. I just love it. I have tried to find the devs so I could see if they had more in this series. There is one more but that is it. I can't wait for them to do another
This was a very enjoyable. The graphics were beautiful. The challenge was good but not too hard. The puzzles were the same level. I don't like demon stories so I did not give an excellent for the story line. Level of challenge was very good but not as hard as I love. Still very good. It was one of those games I could not wait to get back to play each time I had to take a break.
A UFO is rumored to have landed in the small town of Tundel and the mayor is trying to conceal it. Run your own journalistic investigation and learn the truth behind the event!
This is a unique game. There is a lot of running around in this game. But very fun!! My suggestions for playing the game: 1. Start out with a pad and pencil or print out the map to take notes 2. I never read tutorials but read this one on how to use the flag 3. I played on hard mode and had to go to the walkthroughs twice. 4. Look in every nook and cranny and think outside the box.
I found one error in my game. The mouse trap guy does not need a sprocket. I also ended up with one extra object at the end. The game crashed on me once and I had to start all over. There is an auto save but I would save regularly anyway. Enjoy the game, It is an excellent detour from the norm and very very enjoyable. I went to the producers website looking for another but there was not one. UNIQUE and FUN.
I like adventure more than HO. This had more HO than I would have liked. Sometimes the use of objects was obscure. This game had you run around a bit but you could use the map and that was nice. The map took you to exactly where you needed to go. I hate running around for the sake of running around. I also like that you complete an area and then move on. This game was pretty good that way. There were a few exceptions but it worked well with the story and objects you collect etc..
Challenge yourself in the role of the scientist-historian-scholar of ancient civilizations and mystical legends and save your friend from the Demon of Darkness!
This game is a very low key relaxing game. There are great puzzles. The graphics are beautiful. There is a lot of running around but not as inappropriate as some games. All the scenes are relevant throughout the game. The only thing I did not like was the final puzzle/mini game. It was an arcade type game and I do not play arcade type games. So, I did not finish the game. I could not skip it either. I played on the hardest level. Except for the last mini game, it was a relaxing game and did not over challenge me.
