We wait months for a new TM game, and get quite excited when one finally arrives. This one is such a disappointment. From the childish graphics to the dreadful "music", then the endless, endless "talking", I'll be surprised if anyone bothers to get much further than the 4th level. This one is definitely not for me.
There is absolutely no excuse for the poor, fuzzy graphics in this game. The storyline is ok (reminder of Sunday School lessons) but the other aspects make it a waste of time. The gameplay is exactly the same as another game I own (can't remember the name), but the execution means I won't be buying it.
Of all the same-old, same-old HO games offered for the last few years, this has to be one of the worst. I gave up after only a few minutes. The production is amateurish to say the least, and the so-called "magic bracelet" is just plain silly.
I loved the first Jewel Match game, enjoyed several others, but unfortunately this won't be one of them. It's just the same thing over and over - no new challenges, no new jewels, just a re-hash of every previous game. It's not for me, and most definitely NOT in a collectors edition with it's high price.

Like so many other reviewers, I'm a lover of the Drac games. Sadly, not this one. There's absolutely no challenge, it's just pick up, build, pickup. Very little choice in the order things are done, and it makes absolutely no difference what order you do them in. As for the "origami" graphics - what a cheap and nasty way to re-make a game! This one is most definitely not for me - I wouldn't waste my money on even the standard version.
What a complete waste of download time! If this is not the worst game I've ever played, it's right up there with the worst. Another reviewer lasted 10 levels - congratulations! Your level of commitment is higher than mine, because I lasted 3 levels and wished I hadn't. When the only way to exit a game is to Control-Alt-Delete, you know you've made a bad choice. Fellow Match 3 gamers - don't waste your time with this one.
We wait a long time for a new match 3 game, and that's why it's so disappointing to get this one. It would be great for absolute beginners, but anyone who's ever played more than a few match 3 games will be bored to tears within a few levels. I played 20 levels, and the challenge never got to be an actual challenge. Another disappointment is that you can't name the player, which means you can't share it on one computer. The graphics are beautifully clear, but that's mainly because there are so few tokens on the board.
This game starts off looking promising, then becomes repetitive and uninteresting. While the characters are cute, the level of challenge is non-existent. It's simply the same pick up-clear obstacles-pick up over and over. It's irritating that the developers did not fix the problem in the beta test, and that is that it's impossible to read any of the envelopes or talk between levels, as they disappear off the screen too quickly. We wait so long for new time management games, it's disappointing when they don't meet expectations.
Our Roman friends are back, all grown up and marching off to war - or rather, cleaning up the mess that war leaves. If you like time management games and haven't played any of the previous Roads, I suggest you do - you'll love them.
